I post here like once every two years, but I still have fond memories of posting on the boards here in middle and high school. I remember seeing lots of the regulars have cool titles like "Trusted Member" and "Vizzed Elite", and being a little jealous of it. I knew how one became Trusted, but I also really didn't. Anyone with 5 or more Trust Points becomes a Trusted Member, and can give anyone a Trust Point. Convincing long time posters they should give me a Trust Point though, I didn't have any clue how to do (but I had just enough awareness to know you don't just ask for it).

I sure can tell you how to lose them though! One night I was bored and perusing the boards, when I decided to open the chat room. (Anyone remember the chat room, before every page had it's own comments section and Discord existed? Pepridge Farms remembers.) There was some conversation already going on in there, something boring and lame, and like the hell spawn... err teenager I was, I decided I didn't care about it and it'd be more fun to flood the chat. So there I was, spamming my keyboard about everywhere and having a blast for all of about 5 minutes before a chat mod comes to bring down the hammer. In my defense, the conversation everyone else was having was boring and lame.

The only real reason I still remember and think about it, all these years later, is because I noticed not long after that I'd lost 2 of my precious Trust Points. And by lost, I of course mean I didn't have any to begin with and had just entered Trust Point debt. I still have no idea how to convince someone to give me a Trust Point. I don't even know why it matters. It might not change anything, or maybe it unlocks access to a secret board only Trust Members can post to where top secret things are talked about like, iunno, meta discussions about the boards and keeping it's community cool and awesome and friendly and other boring serious stuff. Probably better I never did get any Trust Points

I don't know why I'm posting this really, but I was thinking about this incident again, and decided I had nothing better to do anyway, so here I am making a thread about it. To whoever was in the chat room that night, I'd like to let you know that, now being an adult who cares deeply about the communities I spend a lot of my time in and understanding how easy it is for gremlins to ruin your cool inviting space, I'm sorry for having interrupted y'all with spam, even if it hardly matters so many years later. To everyone else, I hope you enjoyed the read at least, 'cause I certainly don't regret to say I look back on those those lost Trust Points fondly. There's certainly dumber things I could have gotten up to late at night as a teenager.

I can't remove where people took them before but I gave you 2 to at least get you back to 0. Maybe in the future I might give the third point I can give?

Also I remember 123flashchat. I don't remember the conversations and people used to have quote walls in their bios and a lot of times I will my username and be like did I really say that?

There is a trusted member forum but it really isn't that much more special than the normal forums. About the most interesting thing to some people is there is a thread where people show what they look like(sfw no nsfw still not allowed in the private forums).

Occasionally other stuff is shared that can't be shared publicly. Again no nsfw but nothing crazy.



Realistically though I wouldn't worry about trust points anymore. The site is pretty inactive nowadays outside of TDV even more so since Becerra95(he kept everyone on their toes) has gone silent. I still see him stalking the site.


Regardless of all that welcome back. If you want to post and be active a couple other people that are still active may join in. Just don't expect it to be like how it was before 2016. Still somewhat active after that year but nowhere near as compared to as before.

pokemon x : Thanks for the Trust Points, I appreciate it, even if we both agree it doesn't matter that much. It's why I posted the thread I suppose. It's not like it ever really hurt me having -2TP for the last decade-ish, but it did make for a good story and a fond memory of being a dumb teenager.

Also, THREE Trust Points? I knew some people could give 2 but wow! It's nice to have my hunch about a secret board confirmed I suppose, but I think I'll pass on posting any personal information here I haven't already. I perhaps posted too much of that here as it is, but oh well.

It's sad that activity on the boards dropped off, but I also kind of understand it. For my part I've moved on and really only come back every couple years when I reminisce about this place. Forums certainly have a charm to them that social media just doesn't have. I haven't used Reddit in years either but I don't find myself itching to go back and make a few posts.

I don't even have access to the last one. There are a couple hidden rented forums too.

Hint for future forum divers find forum 32. It may look like nothing but there is some stuff there it just can't be seen by normal people.

That brings me back. I tried so hard to gain Trust Points and eventually I got a few. Unfortunately, I got a little too excited in a discussion with another user. My points got taken away because a reply I wrote was against the rules.

These boards don't seem to be super active, but I will be using them frequently, just in case I can make a few new friends to talk to. My life has become rather boring.

Well now you have 4 trust points, so this title is a lie. Not sure I can trust a liar...(lol jk, I gave you one of those points). In all seriousness, the past is the past and I don't think anyone deserves to be judged by that forever unless they've done something truly heinous. Spamming an online chat room is not that lol.

I think the amount you can give is based on how many you have. Let me see if a thread was over made about the change.
