To be completely honest, absolutely not. I'm not sure if you noticed this change, but in the original message I sent in the mod channel I had 500 posts as a donation goal; I changed it to breaking the decade record (403) because I thought 500 was unrealistic. I was wrong. And I've never been more glad to be wrong. I'm really proud of the community, and I'm glad to see so many people participating and having fun.

I really love that so many people are getting involved. The person with the 9th-most posts today would have won the Blue Jersey yesterday. That's crazy. I also really like how everyone is supporting each other and cheering each other on. It's been incredible.

We definitely need to wait a bit before attempting something like this again. Honestly, I don't know if it's the prizes that did it. I think the timing just worked out well.

I do think the Vizzed Board donation prizes incentivized people, though. That's the kind of reward that feels really good to reach. I don't think people care as much about the prizes that they actually get to keep. I know I don't, at least.
