I do this if there's a reasonably close person behind me. I'm not stood by the door for 10 seconds waiting on the next person to enter. To be honest, I've sometimes thought about what the limit is for who you would open a door. Obviously there is one, as I said I wouldn't wait for 10 seconds, but I would certainly wait for 3 seconds. Where in that interval is someone's limits to their courtesy? An interesting discussion among friends I think. I don't think I deserve a ban for this as I do help people right behind me.
