Favorite tournament arc?

What would you consider as your favorite anime arc? A staple in anime since the dinosaurs roamed the earth. Kidding but what are your opinions?

For me it’s the Tenkaichi tournament from the original dragon ball. Goku vs Piccolo in the efforts to save the world? Piccolo trapping kami and everyone trying their best to beat him? And Goku marrying chi chi was a nice surprise.

My favorite tournament arc is probably the Tenkaichi Budokai where Goku fought Tien in the finals I thought that was one of the best Dragon Ball (Pre Z) fights and the ending was completely unexpected for me, I can't say I really remember that many of the other fights right off hand like I remember Goku vs Krillen and Krillen vs Chaotzu oh and who could forget Yamcha's leg getting broke and looking brutal.

My favorite tournament arcs would be the two in Seven Deadly Sins, especially the one in the 2nd season that was set up by the Ten Commandments. I don't watch action anime often so I haven't seen that many tournaments to begin with outside of like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh and the one in Seven Deadly Sins was the first true one that I saw so it kind of stuck with me.

Hmm personally like the 2 tournament arcs from YuYu Hakusho. The first dark tournament arc was the time when most of the main characters got/showed off their main powers and the demon world tournament arc was a good fight fest ending for the show.

Despite being a notorious Dragon Ball head, which I absolutely don't deny, all the world tournaments don't hold up to how hype that arc was in Yu Yu Hakusho. That's one of those anime that I wish I could watch for the first time again, and that arc is a huge part of that.
