Forget the Switch Pro, the new Mario Switch that Nintendo announced earlier today to go alongside the launch of Super Mario 3D World is the real prize.

It's just a new paint job on a regular switch, but I think this can be the best looking of all the Switches. The coolest thing about it for me is that the dock is all red. It's not a boring color like black and doesn't have any patterns or designs like the Animal Crossing one, it's just a bright clean Red.

The console itself and the joycons are also red while the straps and controller thing are blue. There's also a free case that's Red and blue. I like how the design stays sleek and clean by giving you the option of playing on an all ref option or with the red and little bit of blue.

The thing about the red dock makes it very interesting. I'm already mesmerized at my red Wii compared to the standard white edition, so the first images of this new Switch will totally rock the place.

If we can get that paint job on the Pro I'd most likely get it. Then again, the dock won't be of much importance to me, so maybe I'll just focus on getting some nice looking joycons.

EX Palen : The Red really seems to pop out and seems a lot sharper than normal. We already have a "red and blue" switch but those seem pretty dull compared to the color in the image. It just stands out really well.

The cool thing is that the best looking parts are the dock and the joy cons, not the switch itself really. So those can be replaced with a switch that you already have. If I can find the red dock for sale for a reasonable price, I would probably get it and get rid of my old black one.
