The only Pokémon music I ever truly like are the Pokémon Registration, Options, and Mini-Games tracks from Pokémon Stadium 2. Past there, Pokémon soundtrack is just adequate and isn't really special at all.

My favorite Pokemon OST is easily Black 2 and White 2 I love the soundtrack in those games and in gen 5 in general it's great hearing all the city themes and battle themes. I really love how in gen 5 how when you get to the gym leaders last Pokemon how a different theme plays it gives such a triumph feel to it.

If we're talking about gens, then I will have to go with gen 5. I really liked how they went in a completely different direction with many of the songs. Different instruments, different sounds, different styles, like with the wild battle theme and Cobalion and Co's theme.
