U is for Umineko: When they cry. It's a beautiful and thrilling visual novel series that is split in 8 different stories, each including the same main cast of characters (alongside some unique ones here or there). It's both fun from a logical perspective, trying to figure out what even happened in each story, as well as being fun because each story adds more to every single character and their backstory, motivations, etc. It screws with your perception of reality a lot.

W is for Wii Sports RESORT! The little brother of the famous Wii Sports that had massively expanded games and required the little extra accessory in Wiimotes that I'm forgetting the name of... but honestly, I loved this game WAY more than the OG Wii Sports. Absolutely had at least double the amount of hours in it. The swordplay mode especially I spent hours upon hours playing with a lot of my childhood friends. Very fond memories.

This should actually be Y not Z so I'm picking Yoshi's Island from the SNES. I loved that game even though the crying Mario was SO annoying. I'm pretty sure I collected everything on that game. One of the only times I've bothered.

I have not actually played a game that starts with a Z to my recollection... obviously we won't throw any of the Zeldas there, that's kinda cheating. That being said, after doing a little browsing and completely forgetting about this one game - I do know about, and plan to play at least, Zone of the Enders. Being mecha combat based... you can guess that it's downloaded to my PS2's harddrive and is on the to-do list for one of these days lol. I can't really speak much else to it besides that, but honestly if the game is that simple anyway - justt a bunch of robots fighting - that's more than good enough for me lmao

American McGee's Alice. This was such a weird game. It was based off of Alice in Wonderland but as if the world had been twisted even crazier and darker than before. It's a pretty good game. Pretty old at this point. Late 90's or really early 2000's but probably still pretty good even today.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

This game is a homage to Castlevania games, which I haven't actually played one to completion before. Sadly... I have, purposefully, not played this game to completion either. I am someone who likes to complete most objectives in the games I play, but something seriously irks me about a Castlevania-like (I don't want to say Metroidvania because there's not really much Metroid in it) where you have to grind enemies for their drops. I think the game is "fun enough" besides that, I do enjoy the combat sufficiently enough to keep me engaged, and I did really enjoy the exploration aspect of trying to fill out the entire map. I will say though that most of the "puzzles" were not really engaging as they were trivial to solve. I did at least get the bad ending, and decided once I hit that part that I kinda don't really care to do the rest of the game.

Chicken Invaders 2

Genuinely might be the first game I ever played it's a take on Space Invaders that has a lot of charm and got more advanced as the series went on but my favorite will always be 2.

I'm it has been said before in this thread but for D I have to pick Diablo 2. Easily the best of the Diablo franchise. I've played it through a few times and will probably play it again at some point. So much fun!

A solid 30% chance someone has already said this, but I at least scrolled to the last two Es and it wasn't there... better than Earthbound!

E shall be for Euro Truck Simulator 2. As the title of the game likely implies, it's a simulator game for driving a truck through Europe. You're provided with a rented truck, and a list of jobs (and cargo) to take from Point A to Point B. Just like a trucker. Eventually you can build your own business, stop using rented trucks and get one that you like, and all that fun stuff. Although one of the draws of the game is their relative accuracy to the region they're portraying, obviously the roads are highly compressed so that the game isn't completely monotonous, and obviously you can create your own fun with it by driving in less than legal ways or creating challenges for yourself. Personally I do like how it's a very relaxing type of game where I can decompress and let my mind wander around while still accomplishing some sort of task - to me, it beats doing *literally* nothing, at least. And it's surprisingly fun to play with friends watching you because suddenly things get a lot more chaotic when you decide drifting across an intersection would be funny lol

F-Zero! This is one of my absolute favorite racing games of all time. I love it. I could sit down and play it again right now and probably do alright playing it.

I'm not sure what I enjoy about it the most. Probably that it is just a racing game. There are no power ups or things you can buy to make your vehicle faster. You just need to play and get better or lose. That's the old school racing game way to be. I love it!

G will be for Gravity Rush 2. If this game has already been said this in this thread... it was probably also by me lol.

This is one of my favorite games of all time and a super sleeper hit that I wish didn't flop the way that it did (no thanks to Sony for zero marketing). I remember I actually didn't get to play it at launch and missed all the fun online stuff that my best friend (who is equally as much of a fan of the series as me, if not more) did get to play, and he always shames me for it because apparently it was a lot of fun lol. I think it's an incredibly fresh take on an action game where you control your own plane of gravity and can zip around doing flying kicks toward enemies from whatever angle you like. It's on my replay to-do list, maybe sometime next year?

H is for Heretic! This is a doom clone that changes it from a sci-fi game into a more fantasy style game. It changed first person shooters from being gun based and changed it into a more medieval and spell casting style of game.
