you can't pick your family but you can pick your friends, sometimes there's a parent(s) that just really seems like they don't want the best for you and that's fine, that's them. maybe finding support in friends can help you, i usually consider my friends family because of this. it's easier to be yourself with them. that really sucks about what happened with your dad but do your best to stay positive. another thing a friend can possibly help you with is them helping you to learn how to drive, in my state as long as the person was over a certain age they could help you, when i was learning to drive several of my friends had to help me because my mom was too scared to let me drive her car or even be in the car with me.
if you have any family friends or know anyone who owns a business you could try asking if you could get some part time work from them, i know it seems hard finding a job at such a young age but some places really do want to give you a shot, and as long as you have a work permit you can apply for any job so long as they don't have an age restriction for working there. even some gas stations might hire you to help clean up around the place.

you can read, draw, sleep, you could build something. there's always something to do, you just might have to open your mind a bit to the idea of things.  i usually tend to sleep or play games but i don't have that much free time anymore so whatever i do choose to do is usually the only thing i can do. some days i cant even do anything at all besides try to get enough sleep for the next day.

Yeah I'm failing to see how the fault is on steam. Every program takes learning and Steam is a program.
Sorry you had a rough time but there's a ton of games on there and a bunch of free ones too, maybe you can find something else to bide your time with. Or you could even buy those games during a sale or something. Steam's pretty well known for their huge sales where you can get a bunch of games for fairly cheap.
Also another option could be if your cousin has a steam you guys could game share with each other and you'd be able to have access to his whole library.

I think it's something similar to the first scenario being more about the mental health of a child and the second being about getting what you want. I'm not in school though so I don't know if there is bullying or anything about a classmate not having a social media account.

And I spent the first year and a half playing final fantasy games by myself.
I met some really cool people here when I became active and it was honestly probably life changing in the aspect of that they are people that I truly care about and love having them in my life. I'm not going to tag anyone though since most of my friends have left the site a long time ago but I do still have some on here that don't mind me being around. You guys are great, you've been a community for so many people and it's awesome to see it still going strong.
We've had our ups and downs vizzed, I hope we make it another 4 more together or some other lame garbage. Thanks for letting me come back around!
