I used to have similar problems, but I think I've opened up a lot more recently. I've been in the habit of trying to talk to people more because a "newer" of interest of mine is being fascinated in the life stories and experiences of people who I think come from completely different backgrounds than I do. I tend to describe it as like... an "extroverted introvert" - I primarily spend my time on my own and am relatively quiet, but if I'm out and about, I'll make the most of it and I guess the switch flips.

Although I do mostly agree with the general sentiment of "you have to force it out of yourself", I don't think that entirely necessitates constant exposure therapy. Introspection is equally powerful (but of course you do need practice as well). I actually wanted to point out the pattern that a few people mentioned in their experience - they actually found out what it was that was causing them to clam up, rather than just knowing they get nervous and that's it. I think this is something you should probably think about before throwing yourself into public and announcing your presence to everyone within earshot. Unfortunately I can't provide too much advice or experience on this specific detail as my own problem kinda just went away on it's own lol.

I actually really despise games where you win in the gameplay and then lose in the cutscene after the fight. A few games do it right, where it'll only have you attack down to somewhere around 30% of the health bar, and then the cutscene continues. To me that makes a lot more sense than completing a boss fight only to lose in the story anyway. It's rather picky but it bothers me a lot every time lol.

It's wonderful to hear that you have a soft spot for Aerith from Final Fantasy VII. She is certainly a beloved character in the gaming community, and her story is one of the most memorable in video game history.

While Final Fantasy VII is undoubtedly a classic game, there are plenty of other great titles out there that are worth checking out. If you enjoyed the storytelling and character development in Final Fantasy VII, you might also want to give games like The Last of Us, Persona 5, or NieR: Automata a try.

Of course, there are many other great video games out there, each with its own unique world and gameplay mechanics. Whether you're a fan of platformers, RPGs, first-person shooters, or puzzle games, there's something out there for everyone.

Outside of my previous post for MGS porting which obviously still applies, it would be nice to get Gravity Rush 3 too. The company that made that game has been absorbed into Sony though, so that's assuredly not happening. What a shame, and who would have guessed not marketing a game means nobody knows about it and so nobody buys it.

Crash Bash remake/master was also on my list and I was *really* hoping that was their new announcement at TGA last year but.... yeah. lol I'm not buying that

Budokai Tenkaichi 4 would've been an answer too but hey! We've actually got that now.

I dunno besides that. Feels like most of the games I "want" have no chance so I don't really "want" anything. Very much a take-what-comes guy I guess lol. My "main"/favorite series is the Yakuza series and I certainly don't need to worry about them not making anymore games.

I'm actually looking forward to a lot this year, which is surprising since usually I don't really care about most releases. I don't think I've had a hype year since like, 2016 maybe, but this year is looking pretty good. Here's my personal list:

My backlog of games that I'm very much looking forward to playing that don't release this year is *huge* as well. I went from not really playing games lately to being completely enamored with a lot of the ones I've been playing. The last time I played a game that I walked out with an unfavorable opinion was quite a few years ago. I'm sure I have low standards, but I think I'll call myself lucky in consistently picking good games.

It's a nice change of pace to be excited for both upcoming and already-released-but-I-haven't-played-yet games, since I didn't really use to have that feeling before. I think MGSV broke my ability to be hype for upcoming titles for a long time lol.

I'm very much a... "social drinker" when it comes to soda. I'll never drink it on my own (besides ginger ale for any nausea), but generally if I'm out and about with some friends, then I'll drink a little bit. When I was obese, the first thing I cut out was soda, and I lost almost 20 pounds within an insane amount of time. Ever since then I've been very strict about drinking them - hell, I don't even really like many of them anymore. Just the thought disgusts me now with a lot of brands.

I own an XS Max. I bought it for myself after graduating high school about 5-6 years ago, and it's still serving me quite well. Still no damage to it besides the small scratch that I gave it putting it in the same pocket as my keys one of the first days I had it lol.

That being said, it's fairly easy to get through it's ecosystem with a little bit of googling. I rocked it jailbroken for about a year, but it eventually became too inconvenient as some of my important apps have pretty intense jailbreak detection (funny enough, they're not bank apps like you'd expect, but rather games). So now I'm... relatively... updated and don't really plan to jailbreak again.

I think my next phone will be an Android. I've never owned an actual phone Android before, and I want to experience the other side before I can make an opinion on which one I personally like better.

That being said, I'd never buy them full-priced. The phone I have now I got 50% off from Ebay when it first launched lol

I have no idea what my PSU is and I'm not willing to open my computer up and look. That thing is ancient though lol. To my memory though I'm pretty sure it's 600W. It's definitely about time for a replacement, this thing has stayed strong through all the other parts in my computer getting upgraded like twice over.

I recently finished Outer Wilds.

I honestly don't really have much to say. This game has left me completely speechless. Probably the closest thing I've come to a masterpiece in a very long time. If you love puzzle and exploration games, I implore you to check this game out - though make sure to go in as blind as possible. I actually think it's pretty funny how I probably found my game of the year within the first few days of January.

I'm playing the DLC now with very high hopes of an even remotely similar experience.

I don't really keep up with seasonal anime but this is a banger
