Very interesting to see that this thread is going after... how many years? Good god. I am listening to 'Love is Blindness' by Jack White.

Edit: Just looked. Nearly 10 years old...

So, in the States I totally didn't like soda much at all. New Zealand, however, has this drink called Lift… And it is quite magical, lemony goodness.

I absolutely love vinyls. Before moving overseas (couldn't exactly move my turntable with me ), I would listen to them regularly. Not for the sound quality, because most of the stuff I listened to was old, classic rock. It's amazing how cheap used vinyls are. I did have some A Perfect Circle and some Mars Volta though.

As for sound quality… I definitely did not listen to them for that reason alone. It is not as good as modern, digitally recorded music (what can I say, advanced technology *shrugs*), but I do really enjoy the nostalgia of putting a record on to listen.

I don't want to sound mean or b****y....

But this is the slowest loading website I visit. A lot of times it times out and I get a message:
"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:Inetpubvhostsvizzed.comhttpdocsvizzedboardlibfunction.php on line 128"

The amounts of games and such slow the board down considerably.

That's kinda crazy, lol.

I've seen Vizzed in (almost) all of its manifestations. From simple gaming forums, up until now, where it has morphed into a crazy online gaming community.

Sorry if I'm "bumping" an older thread.

I feel as if I've been on this board forever... I think I started posting when I was around 14 or 15... which would mean I've been posting for 7 or 8 years.... wow.

That's kinda mean, Juliet, lol. It takes a lot of courage to teach.

I'm start school on the 31st, and there's nothing to dread. I'm never too sure on what level (freshmen, sophomore, etc), I am, because it's a little different in college. This semester I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology (part 2), Cultural Anthropology and math. I hate math... it's been the same stuff I've been learning since, like... I was 12.

Pretty easy...

4= 17
5= 53
11= 39365

Everything is multiplied by 3, then 2 is added. Well, except for the zero to one thing.

So, we have "What are you listening to?", "What's your favorite band?", etc...

What are some of your favorite lyrics? Why?

Some of my favorite lyrics come from bands that aren't my favs, like Led Zeppelin's "Battle of Evermore." Thinking about some of the harder times I've been through, these lyrics let me know I kept my head held high, and hopes high through all of them (Even if the song was written about Lord of the Rings, lol).

The Battle of Evermore:

"The Queen of Light took her bow and then she turned to go
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom and walked the night alone

Oh, dance in the dark night, sing to the morning light
The Dark Lord rides in force tonight, and time will tell us all

Oh, throw down your plow and hoe, race now to my bow

Side by side we wait the might, of the darkest of them all

I hear the forces asunder down in the valley below
I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon, waiting for the eastern glow

The apples of the valley hold the seeds of happiness
The ground is rich from tender care, which they do not forget, no, no
Dance in the dark night, sing to the morning light

The apples turn to brown and black, the tyrant's face is red

Oh, war is the common cry, pick up your swords and fly
The sky is filled with good and bad, mortals never know

Oh well, the night is long, the beads of time pass slow
Tired eyes on the sunrise, waiting for the eastern glow

The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath
The drums will shake the castle wall, the Ringwraiths ride in black (ride on)

Sing as you raise your bow, (ride on) shoot straighter than before
No comfort has the fire at night that lights the face so cold

Oh, dance in the dark night, sing to the morning light
The magic runes are writ in gold to bring the balance back, bring it back

At last the sun is shining, the clouds of blue roll by
With flames from the dragon of darkness, the sunlight blinds his eyes

Oh, bring it back, bring it back... "

The US has put up quite a bit of military action on Hawaii (Where the nuke is supposed to hit around July 4th). It's improbable that the nuke will hit Hawaii. The nuclear bomb can only travel 4,000 miles away from its starting point -- Hawaii is 4,500 miles away.

It seems like North Korea is rather butt hurt right now because most of the United Nations is on their back about nuclear weapons.

Hockey also has tons more game play than a lot of sports.

That game was really good, even though I'm not a Penguins fan. I'm really glad that the Penguins got their composure back and weren't going crazy with trying to fight, however entertaining that was...

Can't wait to watch game 7! Go Wings!

It is usually hit or miss with Stephen King. His Dark Tower series is really good, as is a few books like The Stand.

My favorite authors however write sci-fi/fantasy. Authors like Kim Harrison (Rachel Morgan series) and Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse series). Then there's the more adult novels (as they've turned out to be) by Laurell K Hamilton.

I also enjoy a lot of kids books like Ridley Pearson's Kingdom Keepers and the teen novel by Laurie Anderson, Wintergirls and Speak.
