granted but only because you were expelled and will fail in life from lack of education.

I wish for a Sherman firefly tank.

if tigers and bears were everywhere than I wouldn't be worried. I plan on learning how to be a gunsmith and handloader. I would have a stockpile of ammo and a semi-auto 458 Winchester magnum. no worries at all.

to start off the thread I thought I would post a question that's been making me think for a while. im planning on going into the custom gun smithing and ammunition manufacturing business and thought that the concept of the pocket pistol was due for an update. a more controllable more effective deep cover ccw. I have already decided on a specific cartridge for my design but am having trouble with the concept because of the shear size of the round. the round I have chosen is the less than popular and in my opinion under rated .50 guncrafter industries or 50gi. with little to no over penetration and a 24% larger cavity with the lighter 185-230 grain hollow points the 50gi would conceptually be the ultimate personal defence round. recoil is not an issue because we are talking about the same weight bullets that are commonly used in the .45 acp. recoil is only a hair more than the .45 similar to the 10mm auto. its a low pressure low velocity round with a long reload life. there are only a few setbacks to the round some may consider to be major. one being that with no major manufacturers producing cartridges in this caliber. the only way to get them is through guncrafter industries or to load your own. my idea is if we make more firearms in this chambering than major ammo makers will take notice. so without any further rambling the question does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a pocket pistol no bigger than a slim-line .45 in such a large caliber? I believe that there are a great many out there that would love to have a 50 cal suitable for defence purposes in a compact package.
