Addams family values is a very rare gem of a game. Video games that are based off of movies seldom are made with the intent of entertaining the player. This is one of the very few that has gamer thoughts in mind. In this game you take the role of uncle fester. In the show fester frequently held a glowing light bulb, in the game they take advantage of that strange skill and he uses lightning as his main weapon. its strength is based on his health. The game is more or less a knock off of a Zelda game, with an Addams family twist. Though the game play is similar it is not a rehash, and does have originality to it. The entire game is fairly long and it was a pain on the SNES mainly because it only had password saving. The graphics as compared to the similar SNES Zelda game " link to the past" is fairly below par, but does give characters and enemies a more realistic feel which is more favorable to the Addams family genre. Bosses stand out among games of their time as well. sound as well is very memorable and I can faintly remember the beginning tunes even though I have not played this in at least ten years. All enemies are challenging, and there are very few ways to gain health. If action adventures like Zelda are your thing you will most likely love this one. Hopefully it will be fixed on vizzed soon.

This game currently is not working, a glitch at the start after the initial start screen keeps you from making any progression whatsoever. Until this game is fixed I suggest you avoid this SNES gem. To whom it may concern, please fix this as soon as you can. Thank you.

I appreciate the critique guys, ill try to take it into account on the next ones. That being said my only goal was to rate and describe game I really liked without throwing to much detail at a potential reader and spoil most of the surprises in the game, though in hindsight I could have gone more in detail about the graphics. Again I do thank you for your opinions.

To whom it may concern; Nintendo is remaking the exact same game on the 3ds. I'm not completely positive of it, but I think we may end up in a court case soon if we don't. I've seen the new game advertised and I love this site and I don't want us to get into any legal trouble over it. Again I may be wrong about it, but I'm giving a heads up just in case.

They have been experts at side scrolling vampire and demon killing action, and Aria of Sorrow shows greatly why they have lasted so long. In aria of sorrow you take the role of Soma Cruz, an ordinary man around nineteen years old who has awakened in the dark castle of the late Dracula, who has realized a power that lies deep inside him. That power is to take the souls of his enemies and use their powers to help him and his friend Mina escape the castle. The new "soul" system allows you to customize your characters abilities far more than other Castlevania games, and even makes it stand out in the family of games. Nuclear Strike is one of many games that made the nintendo64 into a video game giant of its time; I loved playing it on the system constantly. There are a few questions you may want to ask to see if this game is right for you. Do you like to blow things up?  how about destroy vehicles and militant towns? maybe even hunt down military leaders, who have evil plans, in a high grade military HELO? If so Nuclear Strike is just for you. The game has many separate missions and even opportunity's to command other vehicles. Nuclear Strike was also featured on other systems and was very well known, this game is even the third or fourth sequel to the franchise. If explosions are your thing, I strongly encourage you to try this.

Mutant Chronicles is a game made for MATURE AUDIENCES. That being said mutant chronicles is a very gruesome game. The graphics sells this game much like mortal kombat this game has an astounding amount of gore. Severed heads, mutants without torsos, that kind of thing. You play as either a one man army platoon Mitch Hunter or cut throat bounty hunter Max Steiner, as you embark on laying waste to all mutants that inhabit the planet. Controls can be difficult at times, but it also makes the game more challenging. Rocket Power: Dream Scheme is a very addicting game. Based of the nickelodeon cartoon series of adrenaline junkie teens who hang out at an island restaurant, these teens are on a mission to keep their neighbor from turning the town into a polka resort, in the main character, Otto's dream . I know what your thinking, but the game play really makes up for it. You save the town and citizens from his robots( which has nothing to do with polka) and thwart his bogus evil plan. The controls are pretty simple, no big difficulties, and the upgrades are unique. Despite its flaws it is a game in which I still love and play, and I encourage you to try it too.

Action man for the gameboy color is a solid game of the console. It is one of the great games that made the Nintendo console an amazing hit. Action man has a over-used storyline in video games though, a military( may it be spy or a special operative is unknown) saves the world from a diabolical villain. Graphics is the epicenter of this game though including, thick overgrown jungles, rugged mountain cliffs, and so much more. There are multiple ways to complete each level and you are expected to complete every one, each level has one mission to complete for a special surprise enabling you to finish other missions to eventually defeat your nemesis. The game plays like a NES or SNES game but is rather interesting. Multiple ways to complete just one mission means this game has many hours of potential play time. If you are a fan of games like Contra and Donkey Kong this is a great mix of the two in my opinion.try it for yourself I believe you'll like it.

Harvest moon is a strangely addictive game. It is known for having a laid back feel, which even though it is long and slow paced, the game is very relaxing. You start out with your grandfather willing his ranch to you and visiting you after he dies. He asks you to take over his ranch and make his dream of it prospering a reality. Ok the story isn't that great but the game play makes up for it. Your job is to make money raising crops and hopefully afford to change your farm, it is almost completely editable. You must try for yourself to really enjoy the game. After a short while you will look up say it is boring and realize you have been on it for three hours. You have the option to buy animals, food, dig in the cavern under your shed (after an in game year or two), fish, and ride your horse. I still play this over and over, and it is just difficult enough that I have never beat it. Did I mention you only have three in game years to completely restore your ranch? All and all, this is a very addicting game and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Hello, I'm psychohawk and to tell you the truth I was a little scared to be here at first. I've been playing here for a while now and I'm starting to become trusting of this site. I have joined because I like what I have seen so far and have enjoyed reliving my video game nostalgia.
