*Nicki takes one of the cards and analyzes it* "Intriguing, much?" *Nicki then thinks about "Hey Sept, did you get it working?"

Yep, otherwise I could not be talking to you now

((OOC: I'm just gonna assume that Sept used the card to say that directly to Nicki))

"So yeah, seems like you got the hang of it, the cards can be upgraded later on for more features but this is all you need for now. You can also use them to broadcast messages to more than one person, perfect for organizing your team in battles and such."

She fingered through some papers and took out one.

"Now, your mission today will be accompanied by two new recruits, normally we would get someone more experienced to accompany them but we're kinda understaffed today. The mission is simple, the past few days we have found animals brutally slaughtered in the forest outside the west gate, we want you to go there and investigate who or what is doing it and why, and stop it if it's in your ability to do so. The forest is just to the northwest of the west gate, but I want you to wait outside the Rahan offices for the new recruits who you'll accompany. And if you need any info during the mission then just contact me through the cards. Everything clear?"






Jessica grabbed the bag from Roy and put it in a bin on the wall.

"Ah, my name is Jessica, I'm sorry for not introducing myself, I'm usually not the person to take care of new recruits."

A light above the bin lights up and she opens it and takes out Roy's bag and hands it back to him.

"Here you go, now head out and wait just outside the Rahan offices, the Rahans that will accompany you through your first quest will be there to explain what it involves to you."

She then waited for Nate to hand her his bag.

"Bag? Alrighty." Nate unties a small pouch around his waist. "Here you go." He then hands it to Jessica as he scans the room. *pretty interesting headquarters, although rather small looking...* he thinks to himself.

"And while you're at it," he begins, "could you perhaps get me a lemonade? I'm parched."

*receives the bag and smiles toward Jessica.
"Thanks, just a question before i leave.
How does the lodging work?"

Jessica puts Nate's pouch into a bin. She also reachers into her pocket and takes out a small bottle and throws it to him.

"Here, have some Cedronade, best drink in town. Assuming you like sour stuff that is."

The light turns on and she hands him his pouch back.

"As for lodging, you will get a nice bonus when you clear your first mission, which will be perfect if you then decide to share an apartment, which you'll have to do, because you won't have funds to get an apartment yourself. And then you can work up from there. Any more questions? I have some missions today that I'd like to take care of, so make it quick."

"Nah, i'm good. I'll just let you go back to work. See ya later."
*walks out the door and waits.

Nate reattaches his pouch and opens the drink. "Mm, this stuff is good." He then stuffs it in his pouch. "So, what's this mission? Or do I have to wait to find out?" Nate adjusts his cap, waiting for an answer.

"Something about animals being brutally murdered...."

She looks a down into the desk.

"I... Don't really know the specifics... Now if you'll excuse me."

She went out into the city and off to her mission.

Nate heads out to meet the other Rahans, analyzing the situation... "her response... something's definitely up. She knows more about that situation than she's telling; I can understand her reason though, given even that vague answer she gave. If my hunch is correct... then I feel very sorry for her," he mutters to himself. Nate then pulls out a lollipop from his pouch and unwraps it. "Well, here we go, my first mission."

*picks up his card and thinks to Kamiri "hey, you doing alright?"*

*walks outside and talks to Nate*

"Just so you know, she already explained the mission once, hence her vaugueness. Anyway, let's go"

*walks to the Northern Forest*

"Julie, want to walk over to the mission together?" Septembern thinks to Julie over his RAHAN card.

Nate turns to Aburai "Not to me she didn't. I just got here." He takes a sip of his Cedronade. "OK, I guess you know what you're doing, so..." and with that, he follows Aburai, wondering when he'll get to find out exactly what they're doing.

"Hey wait up!"
*starts walking with Aburai and Nate
"Isn't it time for some introductions? My name's Roy, What's yours?"

"Yo, I'm Nathanael Gilligan... but you can just call me Nate. Nice to meet you, man." Nate takes another swig of his Cedronade. "Man, this stuff is sour!" he comments while making a face. "Just the way I like it!"

*Nicki races towards the others on his hands and legs as if an animal* "Hiya, guys! First mission, aye? Oh hey there! You're the new guy right?" *Nicki then stands up on his two legs* "Well I'm Nick Plotcher! But, I prefer Nicki! *sigh* "I'm happy this is our first mission! Can't wait to see what new challenges await us! If you want to survive in the forest, then become an animal." *Nicki then Took off his pony tail revealing long jet black hair. He then, got back on his hands and legs and began to crawl like a four legged animal. "Don't mind me, this suits me best!"

"Hey there Roy, I'm Jack Aburai, but just call me Aburai."

*looks at Nicki*

"Pffff... hmmm... hmmm... HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!"

*tries not to laugh at Nicki, but the sight is to overwhelming.

"Pffft WAHAHAHAH!
Seriously though.. what the hell are you up to?"

"Don't cha' worry! All this non-sense shall pay off! For now, I'm the team hound." *Nicki simply takes the laughter as compliments towards good camouflage.*
