Are you in the Need For Speed?
I have several games in the series for PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2, and this one is actually pretty good compared to them.
Graphics: 8 The graphics are actually pretty good for the Wii U of all consoles. As it is an EA game, it is expected. The cars look realistic and the open world city looks nice.
Sound: 7 The sound effects are much like your average driving game, with standard engine noises and crash sounds. The music is actually pretty good however and increases the want or need for you to play the game.
Addictiveness: 7 The game is fun and all, but gets boring after a while. Other than that it is actually kind of fun driving in a city getting chased by Police cars and S.W.A.T. vehicles.
Story: 4 Not much of a story here, just that you are a random person that enters a fictional city of Fairhaven. Other than that, you have to get on the #1 most wanted list (hence the name, most wanted) where if you get high enough on the list, billboards with pictures of your Mii and the caption WANTED will show up across the city. Also, race stuff.
Depth: 8 You can do a lot in this game like race, get chased by cop cars, race online, basically about racing actually. The game however can get boring after a while as that is ALL you do. No getting out of your car and running from the Police, you have to face it head on no matter what. That's what eventually gets boring about car games, the same stuff, just with different CARS. It's not like Grand Theft Auto, how you can get out of your car and stuff. What can you expect though, it's rated E-10+.
Difficulty: 8 The game can be a little difficult at times, but hard at others. It depends on what car you have and unlocked and are playing as. The base game is fine but multiplayer can be truly frustrating at times, especially because the Wii U does not have an Ethernet cable and is often full of lag on wifi mode.
OVERALL: 7.5 It is an okay game and a good remake of a game for older generation consoles, but the game itself is one of the last EA games made for the console, as EA broke ties with the Wii U soon after the games release. You can still get the game in stores, but there are some more fun Need For Speed games out there.
