Rhyven turns to the new speaker. "I have no problem with that sir. Your talents may come in useful and I get the feeling I'm going to need all the help that I can get in this one."

*Narina looks around, her voice dropping as she spoke*

"I don't know a lot about them, other than they are being corrupted by the power of an evil god. Torin has decreed that I travel here and stop this evil before it is too late and all the living things in the world turn on each other. I'm going to that mine... I was just hoping I could talk you into coming with me."

"My lady you do not have to convince me to accompany you. I was planning on going to the mine anyway," Rhyven said as he stood, once again gingerly testing his shoulder.

"Thank you lady WhiteRose. Your healing has seen to it that I will be able to fight again."

The elderly gentleman stood and shakily approached. "Sir. If you and your friends are going into the mine... please look for my son while you're there. Save him if he's alive..." he faltered in his speech. "Bring him back to us if he isn't."

"You have my word sir," Rhyven said. "It is nearly night however, I do not think that we should begin this journey under darkness. If no one objects I suggest we leave at first light tomorrow morning."

"That sounds like a solid notion to me, we leave at first light."

*Narina pulled out her money pouch to pay for a room*

The old man stops Narina by placing a hand on her wrist. "Please, your offer to help is more than payment enough for your rooms. All of you put your money away," he says to the rest of the group.

"My name is Adinis and this is my daughter Jenna. I own this Tavern and the Inn across the way. I woul dbe honored to give you all a small banquet and to ensure your equipment and supplies are stocked for your journey tomorrow."

"If you can stop these monsters the entire town would be greatful to you. Ask any of the other shop owners for whatever you need, I'm sure they'll either accomodate you or offer you the best deal they can on whatever you need. Please follow me."

He turned and made his way out of the inn, gesturing for the group to follow.

*she listens intently at Nerina explaining the creatures* "Then it seems like our quarrel isn't so much with these beast as it is with the god." *she looks pensive and mutters to herself "Never killed a god before." *she looks at the rest of the group* "Well once more, I am WhiteRose, a druid and protector of nature. I offer my blade and magic to this cause and hope that I may be of use." *she stays quiet till the man leads them across the street, which she follows.*

"My instructions were very specific. Whoever this entity is, they have done something to the ground, and it has polluted the waters as well. I am to find the source and destroy it. Hopefully the animals will resort back to normal... but if they don't then they must be destroyed. It is like a disease, what they carry, and it will spread if they are left alive in that state."

*Narina droops her head a bit*

"I only hope that it does not come to that."

*WhiteRose walks next to Nerina* "You have my full coaporation in this. I am a druid and I rarely loose my temper, but if anyone, be they man, beast or god, messes with nature and her children, I will make them see the error of their ways. I understand that if it come down to it, every creature marred with this evil must be killed. I just hope we can find a way to have them go back to normal." *Her face was set with a grim expression on her face*

Adinis leads the group across the street to a modestly sized inn. The downstairs common room was nearly 100 feet in length and around 75 feet wide. It was filled with small tables and two large double doors in the back showed the way into the kitchens when a young serving girl made her way through the doors.

"Please, all of you," Adinis said. "Sit. I will have a meal brought for you and your rooms will be ready for you within the hour."

Rhyven nods and pulls a chair out from a large table. Drapping his cloak over the back he takes a seat and turns towards WhiteRose.

"My lady," he asks. "You are a Druid correct? Have you felt or sensed anything that might give us a clue as to the source of this disease that's spreading amongst the animals?"

*sits down*

someone defiled the forest and mountain and we have to re purify it?

i'm still in but i'll need a new weapon...

*she turns to Rhyven* "I'm afraid I don't know the source exactly. I did however sense a disturbance in nature. That is what lead me here...I wish I knew more. I might be able to find out more once we are out in the forest."

"All that I know is that it is deep in the mine. Perhaps he has tainted the groundwater, I do not know."

*Narina sits down, looking around at the others*

*Kain followed everyone to the tavern and then sat down and waited for the meal. His cloak was still pulled close to his body and his left hand was never seen. He was a very quite person, not one much for words and he seemed always on edge, always expecting an attack but now that they had been greeted and settled he relaxed a little*

"What exactly are we looking for here... besides a God. What else, if anything has been infected?"

Adinis walked up as Kain was talking. "All the animals in the area have been going mad lately. Even the squirels and rabbits. The only ones that haven't been acting oddly are the birds."

He set down a tray of meat and breads and another of fruit on the table. "Jonas was out in the fields last weak and said that even the trees themselves are beginning to change, he said he saw on tree with a flawed hand growing from it's trunk, and another with a tail like a giant bird, and another whose roots appeared to be turnign into hooves."

He sank wearily into a chair. "I fear this could be beyond even your abilities," he said. "If you still wish to help though after hearing this we would greatly appreciate it."

He turns to Levant. "There is a blacksmith down the street. I have already sent word out to all the shop owners. He can get you a new weapon or repair your old weapon if that is what you wish. Please, talk to him."

*WhiteRose took some of the fruit and nibled on it* "I hope we can find the source quick. It paints to hear all of this happening to nature. They don't deserve this. They did nothing."

*Kain reached over and grabs some of the bread and a piece of fruit*

"Thats right these animals and things of nature do not deserve to be put through this, we should get to the bottom of this as soon as possible."

"It is as Torin said then, even the trees are mutated...."

*Narina took some bread, meat, and fruit, eating slowly and savoring the meal... it might be her last after all. That was how the Battle Clerics looked at every meal that they ate. She looked at Adinis*

"The only services that I really require are to have my sword sharpened and to aquire more bolts for my crossbow... although I suppose rations would be useful as well. Healing potions too if you have them, so I don't have to exhaust my spells right away."

i think that I would rather a new weapon,because i dont need my old spear breaking in the heat of battle...I think i'll go to the blacksmith for a new weapon
*grabbs some bread and fruit to eat on the way*
