Out of all the Final Fantasy's which character or job class is the most useless? Keep it to main characters. I don't want to hear about NPC's or how the Bomb from Final Fantasy Tactics was the worst character.

I think Edward, the spoony bard from FF IV, is one of the most useless characters out there. Lousy attacks, and his special bard abilitys stunk.

The most useless has to be Umaru from Final Fantasy VI. Berserkers have no place in the realm of the Final Fantasy series.

Arc, from "Final Fantasy III". He is only useful as a Black Mage. Other than that, you can't really use him for anything else. He'll die to easy until late in the game when you don't even need him.

From what I've read about people who actually use Cait Sith, he's a tank through most of the game.

Of course, eventually you start getting materia that makes any character unbalanced, but the point is that until that point he is your life-raft if you're having trouble until that point.

You can name job classes if you want and I agree the bard job class is one of the most useless.

These two are broken beyond repair, and if you could make these work in battle, I commend you for the impossible achievement. But I'll be sticking with Cid, Agrias, and Balthier.

Kimhari from FFX. He was realy weak, just took other allies abilities, and for the love of all things Final Fantasy he had near to no importance to the story. His one redeaming quality was that you only had to use him twice in the game and one time the enemies were adapted to fit his stats

The spoony bard, yeah the lamina harp (I think) is good at confusing normal enemys but against bosses hes dead weight. (i,m talking about the gba version if it makes a difference).
