pennylessz : $1500 is the minimum goal since that's what I'll need to be able to work on the site again full time. I'm currently trying to get a job at a local factory to help pay the bills which means I'll no longer be able to justify spending much time working on the site. The $1500 would allow me to quit that job and go back to working on the site full time again.

Assuming we hit the $3,500 mark, I'm not sure if a mobile plugin would be worth it. On android and ios (if jailbroken) its already really easy to play any game thats already on vizzed. The only features it would be missing are recording, high scores, and maybe netplay. Also most mobile devices only have 8-64 gb of space so there would have to be an easy way for users to delete the files too.

I think if you do decide to ever take vizzed to mobile you should start with a frontend. Basically the user would be able to download the game they want, then while still in the app they'd open the emulator through there. That way once the frontend is done emulators could be added later. I could explain what I mean by that more if you want.

I had a small idea that you could add to the Patreon page that might compel someone to add to their donations.

For every month someone donates a certain amount, you can add one of those tickets that you use in the market.

In combination with this, add more products to the market that can only be purchased with tickets.

I don't intend to make it so you can only acquire certain items if you donate, since you can still acquire those tickets in other fashions, but it makes donations more valuable to some users, and gives them more incentive to donate each month, as opposed to once, and that is it.

Given how you value viz, and the tickets, you'd probably want them to be in the 10 dollar tier at least, or maybe in the 25 dollar tier.

I just think it's an idea you can at least explore.

Why not make it where if you become a Pateron that you become an instant trusted member as well as I don't think there would be any malicious users that would join the vizzed Pateron group and then do something like try to hack the site etc. Just something I'd toss out there.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
