I'm sorry but how is it not as good? it's not even out yet d/p/pl/hg/ss are gen 4 games. anyways back to the topic, i dont think a wii game would be a good idea, stick to handhelds.

Yeah I second that but understand that's because we grew up playing the older stuff so that is what we were introduced and used to. Same way life goes on to new boundaries and new things. Your parents and parents parents been saying stuff like this for years, on how things aren't the way it used to be. It's just how life works....

You know, I would also like a similar game.
There are reasons why it can't be compatible with all the Pokemon games though, the Pokémon data structure was changed significantly between the GBC and GBA games, so they absolutely cannot both communicate with a Wii game, no matter what.
Now I don't think it should have all that arcade stuff like pinball, puzzle league and trozei unless they are games in the "game corner", so that you can win coins to get items and stuff.
I don't like the camera thing, but the following Pokemon idea would work fine since it has been brought back with SS/HG anyway.
All in all a 3D (or even 2D) Pokemon game would be more then possible on console, even a N64 or Snes would have been able to handle such a game.
Taking that in mind I have to assume that this dream game will never be a reality

Yeah, Nintendo and Game Freak has real power, but they just don't know how to use it, always wasting their time on practical game remakes and more stuff that won't do any good. But yeah, that is a really good idea, even though I don't have a wii.

Many games now have epic comparability between handheld and Console styles of game.. my whole point of my last post. was that console gamers, who dont have a ds.. but have the older systems (LIKE gba for example) should have a game to play as well. not everone has a DS.. I mean its insane.. I have been looking at game prices and there are DS.. handheld games that are more expensive than some WII or even PS3 games! Im looking at those going.. "Id love to get that.. but for that price.. ill just go over here.. adn gt these two or three used 20 buck or less games.. yeah they are ps2.. but id rather have more games than the one Insanely expensive rehash of a game I already own... I mean.. with all the remakes out there.. if they just want to Release past games... then why dont they just make a BIG past game.. that will sell MASSIVLY. With connectivity to the DS online and wii online..

Letting DS and wii players go head to head^^ Nintendo has it all set up anyway..

i will agree that lots of game are overpriced (pokemon has stayed 35 dollars all this time) but its not just the ds console games are that way as well (call of duty games hold value for a long time for example) and while i think the wii game could be good, i dont see it happening, as nintendo uses handheld exclusives such as pokemon to try and generate more sales, just like every other system ever made.

naaa not any of that def new XD i mean catching trainers poke was fun but they should do it through diff regions so it lasts longer say johto, kanto, hoenn and sinnoh with added features from the ranger games

yea seriosuly the more pokmon they make the less speciall all the other become
but they seriosuly need to make a 3d rpg of pokemon, let the people that made the fallout series make it and it will be glorius

While your at it, give the character a camera and let him take pictures as he explores. With the wii net compatability you could allow for online battles, or even battles against your GAME selves.
Like.. stack up your current team against you OLD azz team from pokemon silver.

To finish off Make it more of a pet sim to interact with your monsters.. and make your character totally customizable. graphic wise, im thinking like this one Monster rancher game I played.. where your monster followed you around while you explored huge dungeons. Only updated of course...

YEah sorry about the rant.. but.. This is all I want really.,. It doesn't seem that hard to me.. just give the players a reward for being faithful all these years.. yeah pokemon is seen as a kiddy game, but alot of it is hard core rpg as well. Heck I still pick up my copies and just play for a little while. If nintendo wanted they could make a bunch of Compatable programs for the game.. Like that ranch thing.. or a pokemon snap like game that lets you play and take pictures of your monsters^^.

A new pokemon game in 3D would be so cool! If they made the transition from the hand helds to the big systems I would totally go buy it!

I haven't played Gale Of Darkness yet, but I think another Pokemon Colleseum like game would be good. Like the first game, had a good idea, a good concept, and I played it all the time.
Like I said, I've only played the first one though.

as i said XD walking around is the best thing from XD cause u cant do that on any off the bigconsole games and ithink it should be on more than just nintendo bring it out on PS3 that would be asome cause if we did that than all the awesome graphics on ps3 mixed with pokemon on a big screen tv that would easily work 4 me lol
