Glad to hear the surgery went well...
I hate using eye drops myself and struggle with them, so I can only imagine what its like giving them to a small child and that often.

So, today was the 1 week follow-up for the surgery and according to the doctor everything is progressing exactly as it should be. That is a huge relief to hear. Her eyes aren't consistently straight but that apparently is normal. Muscles were re-positioned so it takes time for them to heal into place and operate naturally. With her glasses on there should be no way to tell she ever had the surgery though which is great. With her glasses off there is a very slight turn to her eyes now. And according to the doctor as long as there is no severe head trauma there is likely going to be no need for any further surgery which is a huge relief. I imagine we could do this all again if we had to but not needing to is a big relief.

Oh, that kind of problem sounds rough. My brother has always had it where his eyes are crossed if he isn't wearing glasses. Since he's so crazy, it's perfectly fitting when his eyes are crossed. But of course we don't want that so he has to wear glasses until he goes to bed, just like everyone else in my family.

I'm glad to hear your daughter's surgery went so nicely I don't blame her for sleeping for half the day (especially if they gave her something to make her sleep during the surgery). When I got surgery on my wisdom teeth, sleeping was all I had the strength to do for most of the day XD After that, I was fine and able to eat and everything I normally do.

I hope your daughter keeps recovering well!
