Welcome to Season 1 of Rocket League. I've summoned you because you showed interest in the thread. At this current moment in time we have enough players for a 1v1 league and perhaps a 2v2 league depending on if people want to play in teams or not... (if you do feel free to discuss amongst yourselves and if you find a partner post it here) 

I feel the easiest way to go about this is just to have a fixture list where you play against one person a week. That should give time for people to be able to play against each other. Of course in the case of emergencies or absences we can postpone a game for the people to play at another date. 

As for the games themselves i feel a best out of 5 scenario would work the best. I can reduce it to best of 3 if needs be as well.  The scores will be calculated by games won.. so it doesn't matter if you won a match 15-0 or 1-0 its still worth 1 game. 

(I was thinking of maybe adding an overtime stipulation but not sure if that would make it too complicated)

Everyone will play each other once in a round robin tournament... top 4 go to playoffs... etc

I'm open for a 1v1 as well as 2v2 tournament. Although I would be more into a teams tourney since there are a few of you that have a lot more experience with this game than some of us do. So I just think that would work better.

As for people being better than others, it's hard to tell.. I know some that are better than others obviously.. but there are a few people i've yet witnesses to play.... Just remember that this is for fun and is not hugely serious. Plus if it makes you feel better my plan for the season after (if it goes well) is to have the teams be picked by rank lol....

soxfan849 : I have no issue with you being a team honestly. It just means there's more teams to play against. Though don't blame me if you lose (though you really shouldn't)

Yeah, I'm still up for it. Luckily I had favourited the post.

I probably wont be able to do much of this anymore until the summer truly kicks off. Thanks to so much school work, all the free time I used to have got taken over by either school or other stuff so just in the last month alone I couldn't be on steam for more than like 2 hours total. I can probably get back in next month though if its still going on.

I'm still up for it. Depends on if everyone else is still open this summer.
