This game is one of the best I played on this website. I tried this before on my laptop and it kept lagging, but I began using it on desktop and it was pretty good
The graphics are what you expect from a hockey game. The ice, the jerseys, the players, everything looks and feels like a hockey game on N64.
The sound was good. I liked Bill Clement's one-liners. No Jim Hughson though
I would really like to play this game again, and the gameplay is one of many reasons why. The shot control feels unique, but for some reason the checking (the players just keep flying) , the lack of penalties (I don't know if I modified the settings or it's just like that), and the AI screwing up at times (the goalies are not even trying) are some of the bad points
For the presentation, it's a little lacking. Maybe some licensed presentations would work, like ESPN or FOX.
For other game modes, they are pretty good.
You still have the roster edits, the settings, the season mode (unfortunately no Franchise mode) and the tournament (I never got to play that mode) and everything feels like the true Hockey experience
