I choose Zapdos; it is very fast, and it is useful as I don't often catch good electric pokemon and it would be immune to electric's only weakness (unless Gravity is used or it's holding an iron ball): ground. Plus, it's a legendary!

zapdos was my alltime favorite during my chilodhood times on red and blue. but.. the only other pokemon i would choose would have to be blastoise because it was infact my first ever pokemon i choosed when i first played red version.

If I had a chance to get my own Pokemon it would have to be Bulbasaur he is just the best one ever. I love the way he talks and sings and I just love his attacks. And I wouldn't want him to evolve either I love him just the way he is.

Yeah bulbasaur is awesome I loved solar beam, It sucked waiting for it in the games but was always a powerful move, yeah zapdos is the only other legendary on there because i wanted to put a fair electric type up, I didn't want to have to use raichu or jolteon. Keep in mind this is 1st gen.

That is so true. The hard part about gettting Gengar though is you gotta trade your haunter which sucked if people didn't play or have a cable.
