pacman1755 : Just a suggestion, don't even know if this was brought up or not, but wouldn't it be easier and quicker to discuss with the murderer the possible questions and who they want to kill while we are voting? That way you can do everything in one post? Sure, it would be a waste if we happened to vote for the murderer but with every other vote it would be much quicker, like just having a plan already.

zanderlex : Nah, that's not going to happen, otherwise the games would end way too quickly. Plus, that would get rid of the mystery and aura of the murderer.

Let me point out something here... Playing the Murderer is actually a very hard role.... Especially when you have to come up with the questions yourself... I mean... to put it simply... you need to make the questions not too obscure.. but obscure enough so that you don't get killed like night 3....

That means taking into consideration all the people taking part as well.. because something like "do you live in america" would be a huge point out to me for example but not really to anyone else if they was playing the murderer.....

Also... i really think this was bought up due to the tdv being hosted so zander can post more but w/e

Surgiac : ye at first I read that as everyone would be in a room with said murderer and discuss stuff there, but it's just me and the murderer. The mystique of the murderer is better if I spread the updates out. That's how I display the murderer. I could just give it all in one giant update, but eh, that's not how I want it to go.

jk its my show i do wat i want

Okay, now it's time for the 3 questions and WHO WILL DIE.

When they woke up from sending the No Kill to the murderer, it didn't save them from the demise of ZeroTails being taken out by the murderer's wrath. Along her body the murderer sent in the questions to vote for

Are you old-fashioned?
Who do you envy?
What was the worst punishment you had as a child?

Time to vote!

I think Q #2 would be the bet, Who Do You Envy, that could narrow down some people actually.

Yeah, I like question #2 as well. Who someone envies will give a lot of clues to what kind of person we are dealing with. Who I would envy would differ vastly from who a lot of you guys would envy. This could give us quite a bit of information.

Question #2 is the only one that could get us anywhere, unless anyone specifically knows the person and would be able to know enough about them to get anything from #1 or #3

I'm gonna leave my vote for this one blank... i don't really have a question i want to ask out of these 3 at all.. and none stand out either

Are you old-fashioned?
This is clearly a perception based question... so unless the murderer actively says this a lot... then well.. its useles... Old fashioned compared to what????.. you'll never know because you perceive things differently etc.

Who do you envy?
My issue with this question is simple... It's very easy to make a reason up to be envious about someone.. and there's no way to disprove it either... plus you'll likely just get a name as an answer... and i wouldn't be surprised if the answer was geeo....

What was the worst punishment you had as a child?
This question is odd... mainly because for it to be asked I'm assuming that the murderer has confidence that someone would know about this.. otherwise it's essentially an unfair question to ask...

TLR
1) is based on perception
2) is easily avoidable
3) is just unfair

Needless to say.... even if we asked all 6 of these questions given... It'd be hard to even cross one suspect off the list..

pacman1755 : Can i ask a stupid question... Are the questions you write word for word... because it seems weird for the murderer to ask questions that are written to be directed at someone else.... E.g instead of Who do I envy... it's Who do you envy... if that makes sense.

The questions this round...kinda suck. But I think that question 2, again, is our best bet to getting somewhere. You can rule out at least a few people with the answer to this question.

Questions 1 and 3 are just unfair. The former being completely vague, and old fashioned can mean anything. While the latter is something that nobody would really know.

The murderer apparently likes vague questions. How are we supposed to know question 1 and 3? I think we are getting somewhere with question 2. I am pretty sure the answer rules out some users. It would be funny if the answer is a Vizzed member.

I sadly have to agree with everyone that once again question number 2 right  now is our best bet. Though it's not exactly helpful unless we know this person like their favourite sport player or whatever.

The first question is really vague because how can we tell their old fashioned or not? Like Tyri said that has to do with perception and compared to what?

Question number 3 is unfair to the point of well how are we supposed to know what that childhood punishment was? Maybe the murderer knew they could ask this question without any fall-back. Other than that this isn't that helpful.

None of them are but question 2 just gives us a tiny bit of information.

The fact that Question #3 is an option in the first place is suspicious to me. It might just be a red herring, but if a question that specific is there, then there's a good chance that the murderer has posted about it before. Just a suggestion. I'm personally voting for Question #3.

I agree with NovemberJoy's post.  The third question has potential to be tremendously insightful.  While #2 may seem the most logical on the surface, it can only go so far.  I think we should take this chance to go with question #3.

Looks like our best bet is #2. I agree with Tyrian in that #1 is perception based & there is also no comparison to go by. #3 is one that only someone who is friends with the murderer might know it's so obscure. #2 isn't much better, but it's the best of the 3 options, I think.

Ho boy! Well, I'd go with #3-- only because I feel rather uncomfortable to ask #2 (when the game ends and all). #1 is very vague, as the murderer can lie. Someone can like old-fashion, but not show it through actions or words.

So, I vote for #3.

Sadly, I'm having the same internet issues I'd been having previously. Last time it took my ISP 12 days to "fix" it. Since I'm having the same problems it's obvious they did a pretty s***ty job even though they took that long to fix it, which honestly pisses me off. Sadly there's not much I can do about it in my situation, but I thought I'd not wait until a fix again this time. And now here I am, at a friend's house again so let's get to business...

Like others said Question #2 seems to be the least useless out of our options. I feel like Question 3 could be helpful in case one or more of the members have access to some specific obscure piece of information that's otherwise not widely known here on Vizzed, but it's way too much of a longshot for me to be willing to take personally.

VOTE: Question #2

I also would like to raise a FoS on Tyri. Deciding against picking any questions is counter-productive in itself no matter how you look at it. Simply put, we can be 100% sure that we won't make any progress on narrowing down our suspects if we pick no questions, or we can have a slight chance of improving our odds even if it's unsatisfying. The only one who'd benefit if somehow people decided to jump on the bandwagon and get along with his reasoning is the murderer. There's also the possibility that instead of Evil Murderer Tyri we have Good Guy Tyri on our side, who after noticing those questions are barely helping whatsoever decided to set up a trap for said Murderer, to see if anyone would agree with him, while aware beforehand that not voting in itself wasn't helpful for anyone but the murderer. Thus he set up the bait to see if the murderer would attempt to take advantage of the situation. OR... I'm completely wrong and he's being honest and I'm trying way too hard. I don't want to think that is the case though since it's Tyri we're talking about but hey, you never know.

Keep in mind  that I'm stretching things quite a lot, so take everything with a grain (or ten if necessary) of salt. It's way too early in the game and we barely have any leads so don't be too hasty. Being alert never hurts though.
