A lot of people don't realize this, but when we lose the hour when "springing forward," the next week has an increased number of car crashes in the A.M. Due to people still adjusting to the time change and losing sleep because of it (at least in the US). Besides, the purpose it was created for no longer applies (for the uninformed, it has nothing to do with farmers) so it should be scrapped as quickly as possible. When something becomes obsolete, it's time to get rid of it and / or find something better or at least something that works / serves an actual purpose.

Yeah, it makes no sense to me. It's been obsolete for so many years now, but someone is making money off of it, so it won't stop anytime soon...

I also hate it, because I end up missing some of my favorite T. V. Shows.

I think we should stop switching to DST. The necessary changes cost too much. Take the trains for example - they have to wait an hour idly while switching an hour back!
