The US has established itself as a humanitarian juggernaut when it comes to the well being of other countries, so we just kind of get sucked in to their battles when we hear of some injustice. Plus, these are people that are seen as a threat to us. So, what do we do? I would love for us to stay out of all this crap, but we can't provide aid to our allies without taking crap from their enemies.
