Hey, what's good. Grinch here, Let me tell you, I've played this game so much, and I always just come back for more, it's that addicting. Especially if you love rpgs. And grinding... and.. Grinding.. and yeah you get the point. So let's start this review. Graphics: 7/10 For a game that was created during the playstation 1 era, the graphics are pretty good, but they're not the best. I feel as the game has really good graphics in some points of the game, but the battling system for graphics, was pretty sad. But it was still amazing. There is points in the game, where your mouth will drop from how beautiful the graphics are, and then there is points in the game where you will just wonder what the creators were doing lol. Sound: 8/10 You know, for most games that come with on an emulator, and you use the speed up, it sorta.. actually it does kill the music. But if you're one of those few that actually play through it without FF(fast forward). Then the soundtracks to this game, is beautiful. The sound differs on each city you enter, it differs on the battles, not each battle, but the important ones! The sound is great, I love it. I actually could maybe one day probably not actually sit down and listen to the 2 hour soundtrack .. Onto the next one!} Addictiveness: 10/10 10 outta 10 seems a bit reckless, well let's be straight, this game is addicting without any doubt. I always come back to this game, always, at least once a year, I have to play this game. Why? There is so many different digimon on this game, that you just want to try as a team, or possibly pick a new starter, or try a new strategy. There is so many different things you can do when you replay this game, or possible just relive the memory, either way, I always seem to come back to this game, and waste hours upon hours defeating it. Now as a kid, i probably would never do that, because this game, requires.. TIME. Thank the lord for the fast forward . Story: 8/10 I'm not going to spoiler you with much based on the story, but it's actually pretty good. The whole training to get stronger, and to destroy the wait.. i'm not allowed to spoil. That being said, I really personally enjoyed the story, and if you play through the end, i'm sure you will as well. Depth: 10/10 This game.. has too much to offer.. it will take.. a while.. more than a while.. to beat it! Seriously, If you attempted to beat this game without speed ups, oh man, you're looking at half a year haha, not sure really but it's long. Why is it long? The story isn't that much in depth, but it's the time it takes to get through the story is extreme, and why is it extreme? Because you need to grind and grind and grind, as I said in my opener. When you get something like "99999999" exp. That simply means, more time to get your guy stronger. Not only this, but there is so many levels for you to complete, so many upgrades for your "beetle", so many possible outcomes, you have the tournament, you have the daycare, you have missions, you can catch new digimon, train that. Etc. And not just that, but they even implemented a final area for you, after you defeat the game, and in that area. is over 100 floors for you to explore. Like i said, this is a 10/10. Difficulty: 9/10 The difficulty of this game is rather extreme. Why is it? You simply train till you get 999999 exp, then you have to infuse it with someone else, to get a bit better stats, then to get a lower level of that max cap, to train it past the cap, then you simply gotta do it again, and again, until you're either 11, 21, or 32, so you can digievolve, then you gotta do it again when you get 99999 exp cap.. over and over and over.. and over. The game is difficult. Very. And it takes a lot of time. Now is the bosses hard? Not really, if you over train. like I do.. But the game is difficult in the time it takes, the way it works, hard to learn and so on. Overall: 8.9 I'm rating this 8.9, simply because this is how I feel about it, and taking the other rating i've used, this number seems to make more sense, part from that. This game is absolutely one of my favorites, and I hope when you play this, and hopefully dedicate more of your life to it than I did, I hope you enjoy it, have fun with it, and kick butt. Thank you all for reading my absolutely amazing beautiful sexy review. Hey, what's good.
