geeogree : Yeah, I've participated in the FTWD thread, but didn't realize this one was around as well.

It's not just the relationship between *ahem* and *cough cough* that I'm pleased they're finally dedicating time to, but the relationships between everyone in the group in general. Carl and Michonne's relationship was always one of my favourites, and they've finally spent some time diving back into that relationship which makes me happy.

mrfe I do agree. I'm going to say it makes a lot of since, She has always  been well connected to Rick and Carol, and I think this is going to make them stronger as a whole.

Episode 11

So, I didn't have much to say about the intro. Some more interactions among all the main characters. The big news was about Jesus. He broke out of the hospital and went to Rick's house. He also figured out approximately how many people were in the settlement and saw their arsenal. He also talked about how it was his job to find other settlements to trade with. Then the realization hit.... they have been trading with other settlements already which means that there are other established settlements out there.

Also, looks like the episode is about going to the new settlement. I'm interested to see how this goes.

ooooh, a crashed car. This is pretty nasty. The bodies stuck in the car. Now they are going into a building to check for the crash survivors. It is really dark in this building. Hard to see what is going on. Still, seems like a fortunate result that they were able to save a bunch of the people and save them from this settlement. And now it looks like they are tehre. Interesting settlement. A bunch of trees all strapped together to make a wall. Not great but definitely better than nothing. And it sounds like they have no ammo. They have been protecting their settlement with spears and other weapons like that. That seems insane. Ah, a plantation house. Not bad really.

Wow that house is beautiful. Gregory. Interesting. They made it really easy to distrust him. Not sure why we're supposed to be I'm interested in what may or may not be going on here right now.

So, Maggie is going to talk to Greogry alone. I wonder what that is all about. Wow, that conversation didn't go very well. That guy still makes me wonder. There is something about him.

Wow, that got real very quickly. Quite a few people just died trying to kill Gregory. Sounds like Gregory is going to survive. Neegan again. I'm curious to see who this guy is and what he's about. Sounds like there is a trade. Rick's group fights on behalf of Jesus's group to take out Neegan. Maggie is vicious. She got what she wanted

Well, looks like the next episode is going to be about Rick's group going after Neegan. I feel like someone is going to die soon. I can't imagine then getting through this fight without losing some people.

I probably won't any time soon but once I have more time on my hands to catch up with the series I might. I feel like the Walking Dead storyline is comparable to a car crash if that makes any sense, you know it's gruesome and is only going to end one way but you can't help but watch. Then again I suppose that really sums up any zombie survival storyline...

Episode 12

This feels like another slower episode so far. Debating about whether to fight the Saviors and debating who is going and who isn't.

Also, looks like some relationship changes are happening. Relationships are starting and ending. Pointless to me but still sort of needed with the show going this long.

It looks like the attack is going to be part of this episode though which I'm excited about. I think they are trying to get a swarm together. Maybe not.... are they just killing nearby walkers. Oh, they are trying to find a head that looks like Gregory's. They are packing some serious firepower.

And now comes the fight.... whoa! That was ruthless. Seriously cold blooded! I'm expecting someone to mess up and for the firefight to start. There it is! The alarm is going off. Stop standing in front of the door! Wow, even the priest killed someone.

I was about to say that they got out of that one without any casualties except Carol and Maggie are kidnapped. That doesn't bode well. I can't imagine them killing off either of those characters but at the same time it would be pretty shocking to see. I think someone needed to die in this episode. You don't have a firefight like that without taking some bullets. It's just not possible.

Still, good episode was it got going. I feel like the taking of the building could have been slower and maybe even moved into the next episode but we'll see what happens next.

Episode 13

Interesting. We get to find out what happened to Carol and Maggie. Not that I expected anything else but sometimes episodes jump around.

Whoever they are with it sounds very organized. Also, it seems like they are getting left behind in this “safe house” as they called it. Carol is freaking out. This has got to be a ploy on her part. Carol is way too smart for this. Interesting. Looks like they’ve got some sympathy from at least 1 person.

Uh oh, the guy is starting to lose it. He’s going to get himself killed. This group is self-destructing.

Maggie isn’t going to give up the location of the town they live in.

“We are all Neegan” – I wonder if that is their town name or something. Not really sure. I find it hard to believe that it is a place rather than a person. We’ll find out I guess.

Not sure why this woman is talking about boiling water or anything but she is talking a lot. Wow, Carol just threatened this woman.

Sounds like the exchange is happening but also sounds like they are going to double cross Rick’s group.

Carol is free. I knew she was playing them. And now she’s with Maggie! At the very least they stand a chance now. With Rick coming there is a chance that this could all end badly. Nice! Used the dead guy against them. Whoa Maggie! Now it’s on! That chick looked pissed. Whoa Carol! Right to the head! And there goes the last one. Wow! No mercy at all! Burned alive in that room. That is seriously rough.

That guy wasn’t Neegan. He died for it but he wasn’t (if what that other woman said was true). Still, Ricks group just took out like 20+ people in their immediate area. That should (in theory) keep them safe but we all know it won’t cause then the show would be boring . Still, entertaining episode for sure. I was tense for most of it because I didn’t know how they were going to get out of it.

As a reader of the comic book.I love how the show takes different paths, like I better put a SPOILER ALERT on this part in the comic book Laurie died by a gun shot that goes threw her and kills the baby.  So watching the tv show is like what if they went left instead of right.

Episode 14

That felt weird. The repeat of the first few scenes. Probably trying to show the pasage of time so that we know it's been a while since they attacked the Saviors. Too many quick scenes to comment on.

Uh oh, downed tree while trying to get to some drugs. This has a lot of potential for bad.

Abraham and Eugene are out together. That was kind of weird.

Rosita, Daryl and the Doctor are about to go into a building. I love these parts. So much potential for something bad to happen.

Interesting - Eugene thinks he can manufacture bullets. That is definitely something that is going to be an issue long-term. If they can actually do this then they will deal with one major issue that likely should have been brought up earlier. Still, at least it is being addressed. Can't scavange forever.

Nice! Locked area that says Pharmacy. May not have tons of stuff but it should have enough things in it that they can make use of. No.... the doctor thinks she can go take one on by herself. Such a bad idea. And what if it is more than 1.... It's going to be the kid! Oh nasty! I can't even type what that was. If you want to know you have to watch yourself.

This girl has a death wish or something. At least she handled it better than Eugene. Oh gross. WHAT! They have Eugene. And there is that same guy again. It's like 10 on 3. Abraham is there! This is going to get messy. And here come the walkers. Daryl got his crossbow back! Sucks that Denise had to die (yup, I learned her name on the episode she died).

I couldn't imagine digging a grave and burying someone like that. I've had to see enough people lowered into a grave that I can't even fathom what it would be like to do it by hand. Looks like Carol is breaking up with the guy she's been kissing and even sounds like she is leaving. I'm actually in shock about that one.

rebelyell : I'm glad the show is different because if it went exactly the same way then the show wouldn't be a surprise. Having little (or big) things like that change makes the show interesting for those that read the comics. Also, I don't know how people would react to the pregnant woman being shot through the stomach.

Episode 15

What a strange opening to the episode. You can't really see anything and all you hear are voices. Not sure who or what was going on but that was weird.

I thought Carol left. I feel very confused now. Oh, she's packing her stuff up right now to leave. That makes more sense now. Maybe. There we go. Now she's on her way out. I was pretty confused at first.

Those were some interesting scenes with the music. So much information can be passed on with a handful of scenes shot just like that. That's what I like about this show.

Daryl is leaving - likely to go find Carol. This is going to be interesting. Glenn, Michone and Rosita all went to follow him. Not that I dislike Carol or anything but this seems insane. Carol wanted to leave and they are ignoring what she said. I just see someone dying because of this.

Carol just lost a tire. So much for any chance she has of getting far. This is going to end badly for her I think. Those are Neegan's men. That's what I was expecting but not from her. Gun up the sleeve was pretty clever. I doubt she has anything left on that though. Whoa, through the chest! Well done Carol. Ah, this is how the episode started. Carol smoked 5 guys on her own without almost any trouble. Pretty scary.

Interesting. Morgan thinks Carol went West towards where the Saviors were instead of East where the tire tracks seemed to lead. He's probably right about it too.

Oh, another survivor. I wonder if Carol is still there and is going to kill him too. Who is that guy that survived though... Rick and Morgan are here now too. Whoa! Rick just smoked that guy in the head after he couldn't answer a question. Pretty cold. One of them turned already it looks like. Morgan took care of him. I really enjoy this differing opinion between Rick and Morgan. Morgan who never wants to kill and Rick who kills almost without asking questions first. I also think Morgan is right that what Rick did earlier didn't end anything but only started it. And who is that guy.... seriously!

Back to Glenn, Michone and Rosita. They seem to have found Daryl's bike and are on trying to track him. Not sure where Daryl is going or what he is looking for but it looks like he is after vengeance. Glenn is trying to talk him down and more than likely he is right that this is not going to end well trying to just wander out and find the guy that killed Denise. Follow him at least! Don't let him go alone. Rosita is going but it looks like Glenn and Michone and going back. I have a bad feeling that Daryl or Rosita are going to die. Or Glenn or Michone. Yup. Glenn and Michone are in trouble! Hopefully Daryl and Rosita have turned around and are able to help but I doubt it'll go as nicely as it did the first time.

Looks like Rick and Morgan have been following a random walker in a field but might have something better to follow up on. Looks like there are some dead walkers near a barn. They found a man but no idea what he's up to. They survived 4 or 5 walkers (barely). I hope they explain who he is.

Looks like Rick is the only one back. That should have been obvious based on how it ended last showing those 2 groups. I couldn't imagine knowing a friend or spouse were outside of the walls and they hadn't come back and you didn't know why. Can not imagine it at all. Uh oh! Looks like Maggie is either losing the baby or having the baby. She didn't seem far along enough to have the baby so it's hard to tell.

There is Daryl and Rosita and they just got captured. WHAT!

That's all I'm saying. Watch the episode to find out why I said that.... I'm going to be pissed next episode if that actually happened.

Episode 16

Season Finale! Very interested to see where this goes from here.

Morgan wandering around at night. And he found a saddled horse. That's pretty strange. Now we're looking at the only survivor from the fight with Carol following a path. Not sure who he is following for sure but he is following someone.

Carl is looking to go in search of people. Not sure why but he seems to be getting ready to head out. Rick is heading back out again too along with Abraham and Eugene. Carl locked Enid (I think) in his closet. Something serious is going down in this episode. They are building to it. Just not sure what that is going to be.

Morgan found Carol! I'm actually surprised by that. I didn't expect him to this quickly. I'm also wondering who that guy is that the Saviors keep dragging around and beating up. Where does he fit in....

And that's all before the opening credits!

Looks like Maggie hasn't lost her baby yet. Not sure if she'll manage to keep it or not.

Sounds like Carol doesn't want to go back. Not sure why because she'll likely die without help but she seems stubbornly set on not going.

Uh oh! Here comes the first confrontation. Well that was anti-climactic. A whole lot of posturing on each side but nothing really happened.

Carol just sent Morgan away. Carol really doesn't want to go back.

Here we go again! Another group and they look to be even bigger than the last one. And yet again nothing happens.

Morgan did some climbing in order to kill a walker. Not sure why really. I guess to make this one stop making noise. And Carol is gone. At least she didn't take the horse.

Chain wall of zombies was pretty neat. They honestly shouldn't have gotten through though. That group should have been able to end them. They weren't trying to kill them.

Whoa! There has to be 25-30 of them. They don't stand a chance against that.

Back to Morgan on his horse looking for Carol. Not sure where Carol thinks she is going... it's not like she can travel properly. Gross! And here is that only survivor. He finally caught up to her. And he shot her in the shoulder.... and now in the leg. And there is Morgan! Wow! Morgan just killed somebody. I didn't think he had it in him to do that. Who is that!

Wow, first the log jam on the road and then the guy being hung off the bridge. Even if he had broken the chain the guys neck probably broke when he was dropped. Looks like Eugene is going to drive the RV and keep the guys occupied while Rick and the rest get Maggie to the hilltop. I also like that Abraham finally respects Eugene. Nice to see. It feels like they are saying goodbye to him though and they might be.

And there is that whistling. They saw this coming (or had enough men to expect it). Wow. There are tons of them. Hard to believe how many there are. I also don't see a way out of this. They got the rest of them there too. This is basically the entire main cast. Are we about to meet Neegan.... I think this is Neegan.

Neegan is going to kill one of them.... but not before toying with them for a while. He is pretty sick. I can't even imagine how crazy the next season is going to be. Who did he hit.... what.... we don't get to find out.... now to wait 6 months to find that out

Still, interesting episode. Pretty crazy ending. Next season is going to be intense for sure. Finally met Neegan and Morgan found a new group to possibly get help from. Cant' wait for next season.

I was extremely disappointed at the ending during my initial watch but looking back that is most likely due to how well they built up towards it throughout the episode. I do think it was a bit of fumble the way they ended it (plus the cheap blood effects) but that can easily be fixed if they come correct with season 7's premiere. I doubt it will matter when it the long run, when there is not a 6-month gap in between the two and it does make for some good discussion which was obviously the intention so I'm not even mad at it anymore.

Someone told me in the comics he kills Glenn. I'd be disappointed to see him go, especially so soon after the "dumpster incident." Good thing is the story isn't following the books 100% so it could be anyone. I was also told in the comics Neegan makes it a point to never kill women with Lucille (his bat), so that rules out quite a few. To be honest Rick is in my top 3 list of who got killed. I mean what better way for Neegan to set an example than to kill the leader? It gets stale when every single show you watch you automatically know the main character is completely safe from death, so that would be a nice twist in my opinion. And it would set the stage for Carl to step up and take Rick's place, not so much as the leader, but one of the elites. It would also effect Michonne deeply, possibly returning to her loner rogue like state (and her two handsome escorts). My other main pick would be Abraham. It would allow Eugene to further his development, while also pushing Sasha back to (or over) the edge like she was before. And Sasha and Rosita would probably end up bonding over them both losing him as a love interest.

Those are my guesses. If this kind of post isn't allowed I apologize. I didn't see any kind of specific rules for this thread...

It's possible that Glenn gets the bat but it's also possible that it could be anyone else. There are enough character deaths that have deviated from the comics that there is on reason to believe that this is going to be any different.

Although if they kill off Glenn I won't actually be all that sad anymore. He doesn't feel as interesting or important to me as he once did. Plus I feel like they need to kill a few of the main members again to keep things fresh and unexpected. I don't like seeing situations where I don't think anyone from Rick's group is going to die because they've been around too long. It doesn't keep the show interesting in that way. It's more often a side character that died this last season.

zanderlex :   I have been watching from the start, and I can't wait until October for the new season.  I know you guys probably already know who died, and it sucks, but the show must go on.  I really wish it didn't take so long to make more episodes.  I love this show and always look forward to Walking Dead and Dragon Ball Super every Sunday.  Now I only have Dragon Ball Super and Fear the Walking Dead...Not the biggest fan of Fear the Walking Dead, but it is pretty good so far.

lordbelial669 : I will likely be starting a Fear The Walking Dead season 2 thread when that show starts up so be on the lookout for it. I'll try to remember a summon to you but I can't promise anything.

Also, https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=88367 for talk about Dragon Ball Super if you're interested. I'm the only one replying to that one right now so I would love someone else to talk to.

I finally watched the final episode today and must I say that wasn't how I wanted the season to end because I now I have to wait until next season to see who got the bat. I'm not entirely disappointed though because it was a great season and the way it ended there's signs that there's more to come. Honestly I don't think it was Darrel or Glenn that got the bat because I believe it was Carl unless I missed a important detail at the end of the finale.

austipokedude : yeah, I disliked not knowing but you know it's going to get people desperate to watch the next episode in October and that's what a show like this needs to do. It can't wrap up any story line without putting something else serious out in front to keep you watching. Apparently there are enough clues throughout the episode to figure out who got the bat if you take the time to figure it out but I'm not going to bother. People can speculate all they want but until they film it and show it later this year it's not official to me.

Man, I don't know how much more waiting for this show to come back I can take lol.

Between this and Game of Thrones, I don't hardly watch T-V anymore at all, and Sunday nights just aren't the same when they're gone. At this point the only character I'd really hate to see die would be Daryl. Any one else could kick the bucket and I'd be perfectly fine with it ( well, except maybe Carl ). This is by far one of the best shows I've ever seen, and one of the few who keep the whole "zombie apocalypse" theme fresh to some extent. I loved how Maggie and Carol took out the group who abducted them in that one ware house place in this last season, as well as Rick's group slaughtering the whole group of Saviors in the building with the radar dish on top. Got to love them stealth kills XD
