Realistically, the Chiefs do have quite a bit of momentum, as do the Seahawks (though their momentum took a hit last game). Here are my predictions for this weekend.

Saturday

Kansas City vs New England (4:35pm ET)
Chiefs (11-5) - 24
Patriots (12-4) - 17

I really, really hate the Patriots, lol. Nonetheless, I think Kansas City's momentum off of their victory last week will help them take down goliath.

Green Bay vs Arizona (8:15pm ET)
Packers (10-6) - 17
Cardinals (13-3) - 31

Green Bay shouldn't be counted out, especially with Aaron Rodgers (give credit where it's due, he's a great QB), but I think Arizona is going to take the cake with a couple third quarter touchdowns.

Sunday

Seattle vs Carolina (1:05pm ET)
Seahawks (10-6) - 34
Panthers (15-1) - 24

Sure, the Panthers have had a fantastic season, but the Seahawks are playing their best right when they need to. If they keep up their momentum, and Russell Wilson continues to play the way he has, Seattle shouldn't have a problem with the Panthers.

Pittsburgh vs Denver (4:40pm ET)
Steelers (10-6) - 17
Broncos (12-4) - 10

As much as I absolutely despise Pittsburgh, I can't deny their momentum nor their ability to make big plays. If Williams plays, they win. Without him, though, I think the Broncos will win out.

Honestly, at this point I don't really see any way that the Steelers beat the Broncos on the road. I mean DWilliams is out, and Brown is out. Even if Big Ben plays, he's going to be SEVERELY limited. So unless Denvers D doesn't make it off the bus, or Peyton throws 8 INTS, I don't see how the Steelers are even going to score.

Here's my picks for this weekend (not sure about the Pats injuries, if one or two of these guys don't play, then I might change that pick)

Pats over Chiefs

Arizona over the Pack

Carolina over Seattle

Holy crap...I think I may have just watched the best NFL game that I have ever seen...preseason, regular season, or postseason. If you didn't enjoy that Packers/Cardinals game ( even if you're mad because you're a Packers fan since they lost ) then you simply do not have a pulse!

After the Patriots beat the Chiefs, my postseason record stayed undefeated for the moment. Then late in the Packers/Cardinals game, I felt even better after Arizona sacked Aaron Rodgers inside his own 5 yard line. But yet on 4th and 20 from deep in his own territory, Rodgers works more of his late game magic and throws a deep pass to a surprisingly open receiver in Janis. Even though I couldn't believe it, the Packers were only at midfield with under 40 seconds left. A couple plays later, the Packers are facing yet another 4th down. I was thinking "not even Aaron Rodgers could pull this off" and man I couldn't have been more wrong. Yet another hail mary from Rodgers saves the Packers yet again.

Then in OT after the ref couldn't toss the coin properly the first time XD, Arizona gets the ball first. I thought for sure Arizona was gonna go right down the field and score to win the game, and for the first time all night I was right. When Carson Palmer threw it to a wide open Larry Fitzgerald, I was somewhat relieved at the moment. Then after Larry broke through what looked like the entire Packers defense, I quickly jumped up out of my seat and screamed "RUN, LARRY! RUN!" Only to see him get tackled at the 5, and from then on it was cake. My perfect  postseason record escaped, unscathed.

What...an incredible...game!

Ok, Pittsburgh lost to Denver, so.... new predictions.

I hope that Denver beats New England.
Please Broncos, don't let the stupid Patriots go to the Super Bowl.

I like to see Carolina beat Arizona
The reason why is because in the NFC's playoffs, I do like the Panthers because they can really run the football.

It will now be Denver vs Carolina at the Super Bowl and I am pulling for the Panthers to win Super Bowl 50 now.
If it's not the Panthers, I'll accept the Broncos or Cardinals winning it, anyone but the Patriots.

Seahawks fan here.  Just dropping by to congratulate the teams that won this weekend and wish everyone good luck in the conference championship games, if your team is still around  Carolina outplayed us and I predict them to play New England now in Super Bowl 50.

In one of the first press conferences I ever watched of Russell Wilson, after a loss, I clearly remember him saying, "Don't be a sore loser."  I've kept that with me over the last 4 years through all of our successes and defeats.

THE LONG TERM FUTURE IS STILL BRIGHT FOR THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS THOUGH.

Have to go on facebook now and look for all the complaining 12's and tell them how it does no good to sit there and keep thinking of what could have been.  The season is over and complaining about "what if this had happened" or "if only we'd done this better" or putting blame on certain players or coaches isn't a productive thing to do.  Lol.  It only hurts us more as fans.  It's better to look forward and be confident about next year.  I think that advice works for any fan base that loses a big game actually.

Once again, good luck to everyone who's team is still around  None of them are there by accident.

Well although the Steelers were able to score a few more points than I figured, the games this weekend went pretty much as expected. Should be an interesting Championship weekend.

Manning better get his crud together though. That team is having a hard time moving the ball and looks like they could get mowed down by the Pats. who knows though, maybe Manning will have extra motivation to finally do well against Brady.

I'm really looking forward to that Cards Panthers game though. Should be a slugfest!

My prediction for the 2 super bowl teams can still happen, since Denver and Carolina are still in it. It'll be interesting to see what happens this week, but Denver will probably be the one to ruin my prediction. Denver barely made it through a banged up Steelers team, so I've got a bad feeling about their upcoming game against the Patriots...

I really don't want the patriots to win again this year, so there's two chances for them to go down. Hopefully it will be against Denver because I really want to see Manning make it to the super bowl again, that would make for an amazing story.

With all of this coming up in the news recently about all of what is happening between the Broncos and Patriots on twitter, I want to discuss that.

I love it. I personally agree, Tom Brady is a cry baby. He's a weak loser. I'm sick of hearing all of the Tom Brady crazy. He's not that great.

And about hitting Gronk in the knees, maybe not the best way to phrase it, but that's how you have to tackle.

Hopefully the broncos can win this game, even though I'm not the biggest Peyton Fan, I despise Tom Brady. But who knows, I wouldn't doubt it if they are able to somehow cheat their way through this game.

However, the NFC championship is basically the superbowl, as those two teams will beat the life out of both the Patriots and the Broncos. I think Carson Palmer will be able to get it done, and I'm looking at the Arizona Cardinals winning this Superbowl.

Well, it's official, one of the teams I predicted for the Super Bowl has won their game, the Denver Broncos. I predicted that they would lose the Super Bowl to the Carolina Panthers, though I can't stand Cam... If Carolina wins, then my super bowl prediction will be one step closer to being accurate. I'd much rather see Peyton win and become the first QB in NFL history to win the super bowl with 2 different teams though, but to be clear, I think Carolina will win Super Bowl 50.

The Panthers are looking really tough to beat. I really think that they are the team to beat in Super Bowl 50. They have their offense clicking, and their defense is one of the toughest in the league. I would like to Ron Rivera win one. Just because he was an old Bears player that I liked when I was a kid.

Jordanv78 : You know, after Pittsburgh's lost, I was thinking that it would be the Panthers winning the Super Bowl because the Panthers seems unstoppable. That is why I think they will plow through the Cardinals tonight and then plow through the Broncos at Super Bowl 50.

The broncos won.

Wow, in dramatic fashion too.

However, I am pretty sure that Carolina is going to win this game, and quite easily win the Super Bowl unless some of Peyton's old magic comes back. (Very unlikely)

However, Carolina may let the Cardinals come back in this game. Who knows.

I have to agree that it seems like it's going to be another blow out in the super bowl for the Panthers. The Broncos defense is great, sure but the Broncos offense hasn't shown me that it can move the ball enough to make it competitive. ESPECIALLY against a defense like the Panthers have.

Plus, the Panthers o-line has made some defenses look pretty pedestrian. Just like they did to the Cardinals tonight.

I guess there's a reason why Carson hadn't won a playoff game until that Miracle of a win against the Packers. He says something about a finger injury. I just think he's not that good when it matters most, personally.
I have to agree that it seems like it's going to be another blow out in the super bowl for the Panthers. The Broncos defense is great, sure but the Broncos offense hasn't shown me that it can move the ball enough to make it competitive. ESPECIALLY against a defense like the Panthers have.

Well, with that Panthers blowout win, I can now say for sure that I correctly predicted the 2 super bowl teams. I predicted the Panthers will win Super Bowl 50, and after seeing what they did to Arizona, I'm very sure that my prediction that I made after the wild card round that Carolina would win Super Bowl 50 will be correct.

Denver and Carolina in Super Bowl 50...a couple of good offenses against a couple of GREAT defenses. I think this one could turn out to be a really good game. Both teams are well deserving to get as far as they have.

But the fact that one of my favorite teams' rivals is in the super bowl is literally making me sick. As I was watching the Cardinals/Panthers game ( pfft, that was hardly a "game" ) I quickly realized that Carolina was obviously going to win. It felt like I was quickly developing a fever and a massive headache...almost a migraine. It really sucks that the Panthers are in the super bowl, but as much as it pains me to say this...they really do deserve it. But if they win, the biggest head on the planet will belong to Cam Newton.

Well I'm glad that the patriots didn't make it but I'm also really happy that the broncos made it as well. They are one of the two teams that I wanted to make it and I hope that they can win.

I was kinda sad that my favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts, did not make it to the playoffs. They have been my favorite team since 2007, but I don't now why I picked that as my favorite team. Maybe because I liked their colors. I remember in Super Bowl XLI putting blue and silver paint on my face with my brother. I was so happy when they won. They started to suck when they got rid of Peyton Manning. I bet they regret that so much now. I'm glad the patriots aren't playing in Super Bowl 50. Remember Deflatgate (if I'm spelling that right)? I was also rooting for the Panthers last night.
