mario102 : it has because the idea has some merit. While I don't see it taking over the current way moderators are selected I am starting to think it has a chance to become another way to become a mod.

ender44 : leggy knows what he is talking about. He's been a global and picked mods and then watched the entire process from the other side (not as staff) and seen who was picked and thought that we missed out on someone good. It probably happens every single time we pick mods to at least 1 good candidate because we simply don't know the person well enough.
