Link to the game... http://www.ign.com/games/mario-maker/wii-u-20019620

This game right here that a whole lot of people (myself included) is looking forward to getting when the game is released on September 11, 2015.

If you don't know on what Super Mario Maker is, it's a game that is for the Wii-U system where you can customize your own Mario levels and share those levels with anyone across the world, or just goof off and put random sprites all over the place, either way, this will be one interesting game.

I think Nintendo seen a number of Super Mario hacks at a point that Nintendo though "Hey, maybe having people make their own Mario game and share it around the world doesn't seem like a bad idea, let's make a game based on others making Mario levels".

Since this game has been announced, I have been looking forward to this game and I have already preordered the game at GameStop in case they have any preorder bonuses, and when September 11th comes, I will be picking up this game.

What do you all think about this game? I think this game is interesting and be fun to play

I mean it looks somewhat interesting I guess. But the core concept really doesn't interest me enough to where I would pick it up, good for those that it does though I suppose.

If I'm playing mario games I'll probably stick to official levels instead of fan made ones though that is just my personal preference.

Ever since the second I learned about what this game is, I've been so excited for it! I've played a lot of hacks of Mario games, and I've always wanted to make my own Mario level with lots of options to choose from. There are some online Mario games, such as Super Mario Flash and Super Mario 63 that let you create your own levels, but that's nothing compared to Super Mario Maker.

I don't think I'll ask my parents to order the game until Christmas comes around. I could lose interest (but I highly doubt it), or the price could go down, or there could be a special sale of it around Christmastime.

I can be very patient for it, and it would be an amazing Christmas present.

I think Super Mario Maker should be for the Nintendo 3DS ,the 3DS users should be able to create their own Super Mario Levels alongsiside with the Wii U users.

vizzy900 : I agree. Touch screen controls on a 3DS should work perfectly with a game like Mario Maker. Plus I think Nintendo could earn a little more money if they make Mario Maker a game for the 3DS.

To be honest, I'm not very interested in Super Mario Maker. I'm not big on making levels, and I'd rather play a game like Super Mario 64 than a level building game, that's just me though. I know there's plenty of people who are looking forward to this game, and I hope that they'll enjoy this game.

PacmanandMariofan :
vizzy900 : I think it might just be a Wii-U exclusive because it might have too much data to have on the 3DS, it more in likely could be because of the New Super Mario Bros. U layout in the game but I think they may replace that with a New Super Mario Bros. 2 layout and they may release it for the 3DS in 2016/17 if Super Mario Maker for the Wii-U get enough sales.

It could happen, but as of this point, it's a little fuzzy.

Ok, I have seen some video previews on this game and it says that to complete the game (which is basically unlocking everything), all you have to do is play Super Mario Maker for at least 9 days, which means, if you started the day it comes out (September 11th) and you played every single day, you'll unlock everything on September 20th.

I think this is good and bad at the same time, it's good so players that buys the game day 1, they can practice around with the parts and the new parts when they are released daily (between the 11th - 20th) and players will have enough skills to make levels. It's also bad because they're a lot of impatient people out there that expect everything to be unlocked on day 1 and they all seem a little upset that they have to play the game for 9 days to get everything.

Still, even having to play 9 days on Super Mario Maker to unlock everything, I still think this is going to be the game of 2015 for me.
