Okay,so I'm playing Pokemon Crystal and I'm in Azelea town and all I hear is this talk about Slowpoke tails.They say that they are a delicacy.So does that make them carnivores.I guess that is the first time they show food chain relationships.Any answers to why this is?

Ya team rocket was only trying to make money. But they actually cut the tails off of them. But you can't buy them cause they're $100,000,000. So you can't buy, eat, feed it to any of your pokemon.

However, some where (I think in the R/B/Y strategy guide or one of the original books) they said that Farfetch'd were also a delicacy, served with their onion sprigs, which is why they don't appear commonly in the wild (in R/B/Y)
Also, Pidgeot are said to eat Magikarp. What are Pokemon such as Entei supposed to do? Eat berries? I think there is some form of food chain in Pokemon, but Nintendo/ the editors get rid of it so as not to scare the children.
