I'm sure I am overlooking a more appropriate weapon, however, the upgraded shotgun from Resident Evil 2 is my choice. The first shotgun you get is a nice gun. It fits well in Leon's hands and has little kickback, so firing isn't a hassle. Then you get to customize your trusty zombie killer. It goes from a standard shotgun to a gun that ejects thunder. If you fire this baby into a crowd, be prepared. Leon's body lunges back as a thunderous roars erupts from the barrel. Anything in it's path is mowed down. It's extremely satisfying and will always bring a smile to my face.

You know, you can use the bat to hit back projectiles? At least in SSBM, I havn't tested it in brawl.

Anyway, coolest weapon has gotta be the the dark charge combo from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the Darkburst. It makes a freaking mini black hole that sucks things into another dimension.

The Gravity Hammer from Halo 3: ODST. That thing is just pure fun! I also like the needler a lot (not sure why, but the needle rifle in Reach is gonna be my favorite weapon!)

I can't believe I haven't posted in this yet....

I have too many favorites to choose one so here some of them are listed in the order I would take them if I could only use one.

1. Master Sword(of course)
2. The Hammer(SSBM version; I just love the way Mewtwo looks when he uses it. Ganon looks pretty stupid too.)
3. Annihilator Beam(particularly the Sonicboom charge combo)
4. Plasma Beam
5. Metal Gear Rex's Railgun
6. Mr. Game & Watch's frying pan

I would pick Zero's Z-Buster and Z-Saber from megaman x2.
He could charge up 2 charged shots and shoot a charged beam from his saber, a nice little 3 hit combo from the old school days haha

I would have to say that my favorite weapon(s) in any video game would have to be those in Brutal Legend. The axe is awesome (especially if you equip it with chain lightning) and the guitar shoots lightning that stuns enemies, you can't get more epic than that haha. Also the Deuce in the game can be pretty awesome if you upgrade it with the right weapons
