Okay, so after a small hiatus, I came back to find new versions of the RGR available. which, at first, I thought was pretty awesome, so I wend and downloaded the latest version ready to get back to my favourite games from way back when.

Then... The illusion was broken, all available versions download fine, but when  I attempt to install them, I get an error message saying that there was a problem writing to the file /rgrservicereader.exe and this has occurred for all the versions not currently struck out on the main post.

How would one go about solving this issue? Because as it stands... I can't play any of the games I used to as they all require the plugin, which I currently can't use, as much as I love this site, and the RgR, I see little reason to stay if I can't play the games I came for.

Andae : I'm not exactly sure why that specific file wouldn't be installing when running the installer unless something on your computer was blocking it from installing. Which version of windows are you using?

If you are running an Anti-virus program like AVG, I would temporarily disable it while running the installer.

Just to say, you should all try to get a proper anti-malware system - there's many out there I recommend you pay for one though. I don't know how MSE is going: they keep either being pretty high in benchmarks or very low which makes me suspicious.

I have a Windows XP, and when I download the 2.41 plugin through firefox, it still says I don't have it downloaded! I uninstall it and download 2.40 Plugin, it says something like Window package is not running since it has not yet finished downloading. I am so confused because I have been playing on the same computer before, recently due to some issues, I have to reformat the computer.
