Star Wars Battlefront the reboot by DICE studios is now available for Pre-Order! 

I haven't heard much about this awesome game, but the footage released from a couple of years ago looks awesome! In case you don't know who DICE is, they are the people behind Battlefield, and Mirror's Edge. 

Are you going to Pre-Order? Are you going to wait for the price drop, or are you going to let this game pass by?

That is the official link to the pre-order on EA's website. Those who have Origin should see a big banner on their homepage regarding this game. 

I will most likely wait for the price drop, as $59.99 is  a little too much money for me. I do hope that it'll have a great campaign mode, and awesome multiplayer maps and stuff. But, I hope that they make it like Battlefront II where you can choose to have it first person or third-person. I also hope that they make the Jedi and Sith great, maybe add a few characters, improve Leah, Han Solo, and Chewbaca as they were terrible boss guys on levels. (Weak, limited ammo, or almost worse than the normal troops.) 

What about you?

Originally I was really excited for this game at first considering how long I've been wanting it but I'm feeling really disappointed by the fact that they cut ship combat from the game. In 2 that was more or less half the fun of the game for me.

I may pick it up but if I do, I will wait until it's released and see how it turns out.

So ready for the beta

Zlinqx : I feel similar. I was really excited when the game was first announced, but then as more and more information comes through the pipeline, I find myself more and more repelled. The scale of the game looks smaller (on paper), and just a few features I wanted won't be there.

I'm also a bit afraid that it will turn out to be a Star Wars themed Battle Field 4. I'm not sure why, but it just feels like the games that receive a ridiculous amount of hype just all end up disappointing so many gamers. Remember Destiny? I don't know, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not risking a pre-order on it.

Hopefully the beta answers some questions, but right now I'm super skeptical and I am keeping my wallet extra close.

I feel the same way as Zlinqx and Skilledree, I was originally so happy to see a new Battlefront game since it's been 10 years since Battlefront II came out. Hearing that there ship combat isn't back really baffles me. Why would you want the newest game in a franchise to have one of the best features from a previous installment? It makes no sense.

gamerforlifeforever2 : There is some kind of ship combat, it's a little different than BFII, but it should still be pretty awesome, considering the way they made an upgrade system... The ships have a "hero" ship, that, if you are the best, you get to use. This seems really cool, but other than that I can't say too much about what it will be like. (At least not until I try the game out.)
