Is buying a 3DS worth it if I only really want to play a couple of games? I talked to a few people about it and there are some games that I really want to play such as Y and AS and Smash, but that's really all I'm going to get, and maybe Monster Hunter and PQ, but that's it, I don't care for any other 3DS games. I could probably get one or even a 2DS for just $99, but would it be a waste spending all that money and getting a couple of games?

I do have enough money for it and I really do want to play some of those games but I would have no need at all for the system outside of those two or three games. Any thoughts?

I'm in a similar situation with this system, I only really want Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons games, Mario Bros. games, and maybe Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. And even when I have enough money for it, I question whether I should buy it or not. What will happen is that I'll play these games once or twice through, put them down, and never touch the system again. Is that worth the money it costs? In short, I don't know.

So I guess all I can say is that if you have all of the games and systems that you really want at all, and you have nothing else to worry with budget wise, I guess go for it. Money does no good if you never spend it. Alternatively you could save it for something important, but if you plan to spend it anyway and the aforementioned conditions are met, get one. As for me? I don't know if I ever will or not. All I'm sure of now is a PS4 and Vita.

It all depends on if you really want the system and if you have plenty of money to spend. I got my Playstation Vita just to play Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy IV so...if you want it then you should get it.

eirinn;: I'm kind of at that point with my Vita now, I didn't want any games for it since I won the vita and it came with a game, and because of that, there aren't really any games I have on the Vita that I bought because I wanted to play them and because of that, I barely actually use the system anymore, it just sits around until there's a movie that I want to watch.
