Yeah, I know there are some missing episodes from the early years of the show but that isn't going to stop me. I'm going to power through this as best I can so that I can see as much of the show as possible. I've heard good things about some of the early doctors and episodes so I want to watch it. Plus, I don't want to have only watched the new show and not try to watch the old one as well.

geeogree : I feel the same way about wanting so see a show in it's entirety rather than portions of it. Just a fyi, watching too many episodes and once will make it difficult to comprehend what all is going on. At least that is what happened to me when I started watching.

yeah, I'm trying to watch 1 episode chunk at a time. Each "episode" has 2-8 videos each so doing a single story takes 1-3 hours to watch. It's easy to keep on top of the story within each of those stories and hard to watch more than 1 full episode at a time with my schedule. I'm just finishing up the 2nd episode where the Daleks show up for the first time. It's strange to see them like this for the first time and not have the Doctor react like he usually does.

So, I just finished the Dalek Invasion of Earth (10th episode) where Susan is left behind. I'm a bit surprised that I've already seen my first companion being left behind. I wasn't sure how long any of them would last but this seems sudden.

Still, I'm enjoying the show so far. The acting is average at best and the special effects are pretty terrible (it was the 60's after all) but the stories are interesting. It is taking me forever to get through but I'll manage it eventually.

1) Who is your favorite Doctor? Why?
My favorite Doctor was Matt Smith because of his ferocity. Two episodes explain it all. In The Hungry Earth and Cold blood when The Doctor says "don't insult me. I am the last of my species and I know how that weighs on the heart." His delivery showed his deep anger.

2) Who is/are your favorite Companion(s)? Why?
Full time Companions were the Ponds. The interaction that they had with River and The Doctor were awesome. Other Companions I loved Strax.

3) Who is your favorite Villain? Why?
My favorite Villain will always be the Master, The have such a rich history together. They remind me of Sherlock and Moriarty.

4) Who annoys you the most? This can be anyone: Villain, Companion, Doctor, etc. Explain.
People how don't trust the Doctor even though they know his reputation.
