I would have to pick Sid Meier's Civilization IV, but if I could pick all of the Civilizations, then all the better.  I usually set it up to take as long as possible anyway, so I could imagine myself playing it forever.

I'd have to go with Xenoblade Chronicles. Not because it's my favourite game (don't get me wrong, it's excellent), but because it is such a vast game, with ample quests and gameplay as well as encouraging you to play through multiple times, I think it'd last me a lot longer than any other game I own.

As well as that, with so many people wanting it, being stuck with it for the rest of my life is nothing to complain about.

I would go with super smash bros wii u. 50+ characters, the vast modes of play, dozens of stages and special event modes. I have over 2000 hours of play time between the Nintendo 64, gamecube and wii versions. I have only played smash bros wii u once on my birthday event; someone brought a wii u over. If not for steam, I would be the owner of a wii u and be as addicted as ever in smash bros. Online play will only last a few years and then everyone either gets tired of it and/or the servers shut down. But I am totally fine with npc characters.

Yep, super smash bros for life.

If a game series counts I would love to play nothing but Final Fantasy. I love that series so much. But yeah, if that did happen, that is my pick. I would be set for life.

Mine would have to be PMD(Pokemon Mystery Dungeon), no contest. (Preferably EoS) I get bored very easily with other games, but PMD is something else. I can spend weeks playing that game to no end, and rarely any game has made me that invested in it (yes, even Skyrim couldn't do it. I guess I'm not one for open world games). It's because of the great story, and the depth. Oh and Pokemon :3.

For now, that would be Grand Theft Auto V, for the PS4 or XONE. I really think I could play a game like GTA V forever. It's just that varied and dynamic to never get bored of it. I have never gotten in the same situation twice, and after two years of playing GTA V on X360, I still find myself finding new and cool things in the game.

Pokemon black or white. Why? because it's the best in the series, and pokemon is the best game series I've ever played!

For me it has to be Civilization II. I've played the others but it's the one I always come back to. It's hard to believe it's been nearly 20 years since I first played it but I'm currently in the midst of another game. I've always liked strategy games and bought it at Best Buy one day because it looked like a game I'd enjoy. I was right on that one. I always play the biggest map with the most rivals and hardest barbarians. Depending on how badly I want to dominate I'll vary the difficulty level but I've never won on Deity. I've also tried to do the one-city scenario a few times but I just lack the patience to pull it off I think.

I know it's been said about a million times, but it has to be Skyrim.

Not only is a 100% completion well over 300 hundred hours (some say 600, I haven't reached it yet), but there are endless mods to play with. I could get into modding myself if I had my whole life to play it. Sure I'd get bored, but every year or so I'm sure I'd pick it up for a hundred hours or so.

I would have to say all The Sims games with the expansions of course. I actually haven't played it in a while because I have been busy with other things but I can spend hours at a time just playing The Sims. It's something I may get bored of but a couple of days later I would want to play it again. I have never played Skyrim before , that is (yet) so I can't really vote for that but The Sims, All the way. <3

I would probably pick Minecraft because of all the possibilities that open with that game. The ability of making your own servers and customizing the aspects of the game makes the game the perfect sandbox. It could be turned into an MMORPG or an economy-based game as well as the creative game that it already is. And well if I am going to spend my life on that game there could be endless things that I could do. If I get bored of the texture of the game I could just create a new texture. If enough time is spent one could make it look like crisis (though I bet the coding and time spent into that would have to be immense). The multiplayer aspects makes it a game that never gets boring because there are so many possibilities. MINECRAFT is the absolute winner at least in my heart.

I would clearly go with Final Fantasy VII, after all, I have played it over fifty times now and I'm still not bored of it.

My pick would probably be one of the assassins creed series, thanks to  their conspiracy and history-driven gameplay and story.
Not to mention I learned a lot about world (almost) history and saw the connections I've never seen before...
That's why I'm still hesitant to get rid of them, especially 2!

One for the rest of my life? Then I'd want one of those older Mega packs they have for like Sega/classic arcade games heh.

If that's not possible then I'd definitely go with The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, I've put over 1k hours in it over 6+ years and it just holds my interest so well.

I'd say the same for Skyrim but I got bored 40 hours in after I had completed the main story, it didn't really enthrall me like Oblivion did for some reason.

Hmm... that's hard. While it isn't my favorite game of all time, I'd have to go with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U because it is so much fun to play over and over again.
