Do You Celebrate Valentine's Day?

I am single so I don't celebrate it like many would think but I do try to bring some happiness to my friends whether they are single or not. I will buy bags of candy and I will pass them out because we all have to admit that receiving something in Valentine's Day is good even if it is just from a friend. This year I gave out Tootsie Roll Pops to all of the people in my AP Chemistry class (since I like everyone in that class) and well I got very positive reactions from everyone so making people's day is certainly something good to do  in Valentine's Day even if you do not have a person that you like or that you are dating. I also try to go out with my friends somewhere so that my parents see that I am not a lonely person.

I don't celebrate it, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I do have friends that are guys, but I don't think of them as boyfriends. I never saw what was so special. I also don't get anything special for Valentines, so that could be something to do with it as well.

I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day to be quite honest, I'm not in a relationship and I don't really talk to any girls, so there really wouldn't be much of a point in celebrating it for me...for the most part I don't celebrate valentine's day the typical way (at least in my school) where you buy someone a rose and attach a card or whatever (I never really paid any attention to it) but I do keep the mood light and humorous when I'm around my friends and family. 


Another reason I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day as much is because it is also my birthday and my mother's birthday, which, as you can probably imagine, is pretty overwhelming....so that's another reason why it gets overlooked unfortunately.

Well to me Valentines day is a special day especially a day that I can spend with somebody I love. Nothing really changes besides getting candy and stuff that day. I do think of it as a celebration to confess love for somebody else though especially if that somebody is your soon to be husband

Every year, my wife and I go out to eat at a special restaurant. What qualifies as a "special restaurant" is one that we've never been to before, which is usually somewhere in downtown Atlanta. This past Valentine's Day, I got her an order of Sherri's Berries because I heard about them all that week on the radio. She got me a really cool looking nice wrist watch. Its real big and somewhat heavy, but I wear it all the time and I love it!

Anyways, we do celebrate Valentine's Day every year in some kind of way. Its honestly one of my favorite holidays of the year.

Then again, I'm single so there would be no reason to anyway, but even if I was with someone, the only way I'd celebrate it is if my future girlfriend is big into Valentine's day stuff.
