I've had an ipod touch since around July now. What I've noticed about the apps is that a lot of the RPGs in the app store have a ton of content. What's an even bigger selling point is that these RPGs range from 99 cents to maybe $10 at the absolute highest. I have the following RPGs on my iPod right now and some of them have more content than big-name handheld systems:

-Wolfenstein RPG ($1.99)
-Inotia: Legend of Feanor ($.99)
-Vay ($4.99 when I bought it)
-Elven Chronicles ($2.99)
-Dungeon Hunter ($4.99)
-Zenonia ($5.99 when I bought it)
-SEED Episode I: Rise of Darkness (Free; plays a bit like Ragnarok Online and has an item mall).
-The Quest / Quest: Islands of Ice & Fire expansion (both around $10 total now)

The only downside to playing video games on an iPod touch is that the battery life kinda sucks. It's about 3-4 hours with low brightness. While that isn't too bad, slash an hour and a half off that if you play games while listening to your own music from your library.

But yeah, does anyone have an iPod and have some of these games on here? And no, none of these games are like Mafia Wars. The gameplay of these games actually don't suck.

I too have a iPod touch, though I'm too cheap to buy any aps I just get the free ones. Though Wolfenstein RPG caught my eye, seeing as I played Doom RPG on a phone.

I also agree that the battery does suck, I only get 2 hours with this thing.

I heard that the iPhone was even worse :o

I want one, just don't have the money, it sounds awesome though. Reading this made me a little more anxious to get one. Are there screen shots you can post or something?
