Well, I know this feature might not appeal to some of you guys, but I figured the ability to change what your topic's header/sub-title is would probably be useful to some of us. For example, if I am writing a serialized story, I could be able to change the topic's name to "[story name] [Chapter X posted!]" so that the users know that the topic is updated. This could also help reduce the whole double-posting issue.
Now, I don't mean giving everyone mod/administrator powers. What I mean is giving normal users the ability to just edit the title of their topics. I dunno. I just think it'd be useful. I know mods/administrators can edit the topic names (from what I know of) and I just think it'd be a good feature for normal users to be able to access.

Thanks  I just figured it should be implemented 'cause it could probably help keep the topics organized and up-to-date whenever the OP wants to inform people of any updates.

This feature would be fine with me. The OP can edit their own polls and posts, why not their own thread titles.

I tested it in this thread and in the VCS thread.
In the VCS thread I could edit any of my posts and I was allowed to edit the title and descr Looks like it works to me. Although, I didn't actually try to edit the thread title...
