If roller blading counts as roller skating, I'd probably have to go with that.  I think both are just as hard on my feet / ankles, but when everything is considered... well, I prefer warmth to the cold.

For the sake of uniqueness, however, I'd love to go ice skating.  Unless you live in the north or can afford to visit ice rinks, it's a rare opportunity and should be taken advantage of.  Personally, I think ice skating on natural ice is way, way cooler than rinks. Plus, if you can ice skate outside, you can also ice fish..... which is TOTALLY awesome!!!!

I'm better at roller skating than ice skating, so I chose roller skating. Only because I've gone roller skating more often than ice skating (Which was only once). After around a minute of wearing the ice skates, my ankles starting hurting, unlike the first time a went roller skating.

I've hardly done either and I look like an idiot doing both, so that's not going to help me decide. It's ultimately going to come down to the fact that I hate the cold with a bitter shivering passion, so I'm going to have to choose roller skating.

I've roller skated way too many times, so it's lost its appeal.

I've only ice skated a handful of times, and I'd go again without a second thought.

I suck at both, though I prefer roller skating. I only went ice skating once, and it took me about an hour to make a full lap around the rink while holding onto the rail. As for rollerskating, it's a lot easier for me even though I fall at least once per minute.

Well, I appreciate both of them, because you need a lot of skills to be perfect in any of them o: But I wouldn't do anything of it on my own, because it's far too dangerous for me, I would always fall down and hurt myself xD

I was going so fast on those ice skates that first day, faster than I ever remember going on roller skates. Also, I seem to have an unexplainable love for water, snow and ice. So Ice skating really just fits me better. At least now I know that. Before I was so scared of breaking every bone in my body that I refused to ice skate. But i am so glad that i finally did!
