Street fighter alpha 3 is a 2-player  2d one on one fighting game that is one of capcoms greatest hits to ever hit the arcades  that involve 24 different characters to choose from wether your decision is to choose  the formidible and main boss of the tournament known as   bison,or ryu,ken,cammy,charlie,rolento,sodom,blanka,sagat,vega,birdie,akuma,zangief,adon,gen,sakura,dhalsim,rose,honda,karin,chun-li ,R.mika,dan and even two of final fights characters ,cody and Guy.When your character is chosen you will get a Prologue to introduce to you what your fighter is about.Each fighter with dozens of moves including devastating specials you can initiate to your opponent with powerful combo attacks .Choose your character and start the tournament as you face destined rivals where they communicate and show some rivalry before the duel accurs ,in these mini story lines fight and become the victor of those matches and continue the quest to reach M.bison .Graffics for this 2d fighting game is pretty neat,stages are well designed ,soundtrack is amazingly decent that will get you in the mood to give it all you got,and an intro that will get your  adrenaline boosting and hype you up  for this hyper fighting tournament competition.The controls are what youll expect from any street fighter game  ,low,medium,high punch,low medium ,high kick ,along with special moves for each fighter.One thing that kind of dissapoints   is when you reach the final stage ,you better be cautious not to lose the match or M.Bison will not be available to challenge again.You will lose the match and itll automatically show bisons ending scene with the credits showing up.Beat Bison and youll get an ending cut scene that will be the contrary of bisons ,and get a heroric ending rather than going through the deception of getting a chaotic ending where your characters destiny falls into doom.Street fighter alpha 3 is a classic fast paced martial arts action game  for the hardcore fans and gamers  of the street fighter universe ,  and an outstanding superb game from the creators of capcom.

Awesome5000 : I played this on Mame as well. It's too bad that, if I remember correctly, not all the characters are available as they are on the PSX version of the game.

thats so true ,so many characters missing like fei-long,dee jay,t-hawk and so many others Im guessing theres a code or something ,i had this for ps2 and had to do a code at the title screen and they would all show up in character selection screen.true that 

Very nice review, however I think it would be better if you split it up into sections, that way it can be easier to read and enjoy. Other than that, great work!
