Maximum carnage for snes is actually a good decent game made by Ljn.In this 1 player action beat em up game you start off as spiderman ,as you progress youll have the advantage to choose venom as you team together to hunt down carnage who has escaped from  the maximum security institution of the criminally insane  and his vicious allies that join him such as doppleganger ,shriek ,demogoblin ,carrion and street thugs .But youre not alone,as you progress you have the help and aid from captain america,firestar ,deathlock,blackcat ,cloak,dagger ,morbius,and iron fist as you take out carnage and his group of villains and bring justice to new york city.

Awesome5000 : I absolutely LOVED this game. And you're right, you were better off choosing Venom when he was available as his extra strength would come in handy very often. I thought it was crazy how you have to fight Carnage in the final 3 levels straight, and only the first of those 3 encounters do you get help from Capt. America and the other heroes.

as a kid ,carnage was the most worst villain to beat in any video game ,this guy was almost impossible to beat ,then i somehow managed to find a way to defeat him using no cheats,no strategy magz ,i just found the way and boom ,defeated him .(Tackle ,combo strikes,tackle ,combo strikes until your power strike is available) easy to beat him if you do this correctly ,actually fun
