Worms Armageddon, the classic Team 17 Turn-based Strategy game. This has some great tactical fun for the entire family. This game has some of the smartest humor in games. I played it with my older brother years ago, and had a blast, even when I failed, why? Because the game is just that good. There's no story, little customization, but all the fun. There is a reason there have been so many Worms games. This is one of the first they have done, and it has set the bar for each game VERY high. This game is hard to review, because it really depends on who you play it with, because it's something that is hard to review, I will be trying my best, but in no way, will it be the best.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are interesting. They have done a good job, but this isn't the best. But that doesn't make the game bad. It's one of those games that was done well, but not the best ever. It's a 2D game, so it is a little harder to see, but this is still good. The land makes the game more fun. Inside the land are some interesting things, but each map seems a little different. They embed several things in the map, oil barrels, mines, and the decorative things that are actually in the land. You can create some maps, but the textures are usually selected at random, although you can still customize the type of texture, otherwise known as the theme of the map.
The game has good graphics, but they are nowhere near the best in games. It has that retro feel that everyone loves. (Especially people here.) I give it an 8/10.

Sound: This is where the game comes through. The sounds are odd at first, but if you like light-hearted games, this is the one for you. The speech is unique, and really creative. My recollections of this game are all in German, but the same lines are given in the English version. The bazooka has awesome sounds, and what makes this game unique is the weapon choice, but I'll go into the actual weapons later. Right now, I'll just tell you that they are great. The sounds are great for each gun. Even the water has nice sounds, which is hard to do, especially in games. (And for a game at it's time, it's amazing!)
I give the sounds a 9/10 rating, because this is a large part of the game. It really makes it more fun to play, because of the atmosphere it creates.

Addictiveness: The game is REALLY, really addictive. Did I say it was addictive? Yup, that's right, it has amazing replay value, because each match is different. One time you could be fighting one team of worms, or play against a friend. Control two teams, controls up to four. Your choice. What makes this game fun to play over and over again, only comes out, when playing with a good friend. I played this with my brother ALL the time, until he took the only copy of the game. (The one we had.) Which is sad, because the game was so good. I got it on steam, and have yet to play it again, but I can't wait to try it out.) This has also come out on the Android Google Play Store, which makes the game more addictive, because you can take the game anywhere you want.
The game is really addictive, and I give it the highest rank possible. A full 10/10!

Story: I give it an average rating, because I want to keep the game at a high rating. I could just say N/A, because really, there is no story. It's a single/ multiplayer game. It's more of a game for laughs. I will stop talking in this category, because there is nothing to say.
As I suggested, I will give a N/A rating. (I just did that, I created a new rating. This rating means that there is no story, or that it isn't the reason that the game is here. Not main feature etc.)

Gameplay/ Controls: The controls are really easy to master. You only really need four keys on the keyboard, if you don't switch worms in the "get ready" countdown. You use the mouse to select the WIDE variety of weapons in your arsenal, and you use the "up/ down" button to aim. Over to each side moves your worm aside. That's it. No complex controls, easy learning curve. If you switch worms, you press TAB, and this rotates the worms, and you can press it until you get the one worm on your team that you want. That's simple, isn't it? The game plays smoothly too, and this makes the playing more enjoyable. Each moment is fun, because it's not impeded by lag or blurry screens during movement. That is what makes the game truly good.
I give the game a full 10/10, because the controls are kept simple, and they made the game smooth.

Depth: There may not seem much to do, but depth also means replay value to me. The game has much to do, you can learn to use a wide variety of weapons, create your own maps, do challenges, fight friends, fight AI, fight with friends, and so on and so forth. The list just goes on and on. The features in this game are really good, and it is made more fun, because each map is different. No guide can be made, you could create a strategy guide, but it wouldn't be right all the time, because of the maps. This makes it much more fun, because it's up to you. The game has depth. I really loved it.
I give it a 9/10. It has so much to do, that is what makes it so fun.

Difficulty: The game difficulty really varies from time played to the next time. I have played it against much better people, so the game seems hard. But when playing the AI, they sometimes seem harder. The AI knows how to use the wind, and they can make almost impossible shots, which makes the game much more hard than you would think it to be. If you play against easier AI, the game can be boring, but that's what is nice, you can change the difficulty to what fits your level of expertise.
The game is really hard to review for difficulty. I give it an 8/10.

Overall: This is one of the best turn based games I've played. It has great features, awesome sounds, and is addictive as it gets. This makes the game almost a shame to review at only a 9/10. I would give it a 10, but that wouldn't be a good review, because some things in the game aren't that good. But overall the game is great. I would suggest you try it out when you can!
