Okay, sooooooooo I am sure there is you know the whole thing on which game (any game for that matter) is better than the other. What I believe this all boils down to is simply this...there really isn't necessarily a better game but, there is one that hits the spot (kinda like that crab rangoon you may or may have not eaten last night but, still know how AMAZING! It is). This thread is dedicated to Mega Man 2, which was the first game I ever legit beat (and totally never returned to the video store ) . What I am looking for here is if anyone cares to say something about this topic...on this thread...is why in some way you have liked mega man 2 or found something interesting, neat, or kewl about it. For me it is AWWWWWEEEEEESSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMEEEEEEE! I will share why:

1: first game I ever beat!!
2: the SOUNDTRACK!! (which there are multiple soundtracks for all mega man games that you can by online *hint*)
3: the SMASHING! levels they created (from that drop through the quickman level to platform jumping in dr. wily's castle)
4: FUN! master robots to beat (okay so, you are frozen in time...IN MIDAIR while fighting flashman...how kewl is that??!!)
5: we find out a super cool thing about mega man in this one...OMG! HAIR!!!!!!!! (play for yourself and see)

I could go on but, I do not want to sound rambly...HAHAHA! Anyways, if this game hit a spot for you...even if you do not find it the greatest one
for you...please share what that was for you. Thanks and take it easy guys.

I actually got a copy of the game and am actually on the Wily Castle
stage now, but man, playing that game without save states is tough.  I'm
kind of underwhelmed about some of the stages though; I already beat
the game with save states so I know how to beat some of the levels, and
in this playthrough they are MUCH easier than before, but overall it is a
fantastic game.

You should also bring up that Megaman 2 has the most broken weapon in the entire series; Metal Blades. You can shoot in 8 directions, has a bigger hitbox and does more damage than the regular mega buster, goes through enemies, it's the weakness for a bunch of bosses (including metalman, who gives you the metal blades), and it doesn't cost a lot of energy to use. This is the reason why megaman 2 can be considered the easiest in the series (besides 8, but that's debatable).
