My favorite day of the year is today.  Today I get to right all the mistakes and wrongs I made in the past.  Today I get to experience new and exciting things.  Today I get to act and plan and attack and achieve things.  I get to love my wife and my child.  I get to eat.  I get to experience all the holidays on 'today.'

I don't look in the past except to see what I did wrong and how I can improve.  I don't look into the future except to plan for 'today.'

It's all about living right now, folks.  I feel bad for people who live in the past because they don't get the fulfillment of a wonderful life.  People who love the expectation of the future are missing out in the present and they're not enjoying the ride as we go along.
