well, Joe and I aren't doing a very good job of keeping our top spots.... DH is only 1 point behind Joe now and only 26 behind me. With 30 points left it is still possible for me to lose my spot (I won't though )

what is the difference between points and posts? are they the same thing?

Posts is just number of posts you have, points in VCS you gain depending on how many posts you have on any single day.
If you have the most points in one day you gain 10 points, the person with the second most points gains 9, and so on and so forth.
So even though you have alot of posts today (went a little crazy posting, didn't ya ) I only need to have the second most posts today to get 9 points.
I don't need to get anywhere near your 50 posts

yeah, that's something that a lot of people don't understand...

if it was about the sheer number of posts you could do over 30 days then this would cause a LOT of spamming. But since it's a per day point system then you only get points based on the level of activity each day rather than your individual activity. If that makes sense.. I might not have said it quite right... but whatever.

Well, I can officially call myself the victor now. It is not possible for anyone to catch me. With only 20 points left to get (max) there is no way for anyone to catch me. I do plan to get at least 1 more point and break 200 (and be the only one that high... )

But yeah.... the rest of the top 5 is still open for some moving around.... gonna be interesting to see if anyone moves anymore.

yeah, you've done really well with how much you missed. Although it seemed like the excitement had died right before you joined so no one was really trying hard to win at that point.

It's unfortunate but shouldn't have surprised me with a December VCS. The last few days have been so dead.... =/

I missed about ten days on a vacation, so I am a lot less than what I would have been.

Well it's to be expected I suppose. December would normally be busy for the first half of the month and empty for the second for sites like this one (or most any site really).
