Oh my Goodness, Train town! This game is my CHILDHOOD! This game caused me to learn how to use a computer when I was four.
Graphics: 9
The graphics are amazing for 2000, and still pretty realistic and beautiful to this day. With astounding detail, accurate models based on real trains, and the fact that this was made in 2000, this definitely deserves a 9.
Sound: 9
The music is good. The songs sound like real songs that you would hear on the radio. The sounds, oh my. The sounds are incredibly realistic. Like the graphics, they put an astounding amount of attention to detail into this. The train whistles, diesel horns, and other sounds sound like something you would hear on a real railway.
Addictiveness: 9
This game is incredibly addicting. I have probably bought this game 4 times. Granted, it because I lost the CD a bunch of times, but still. This game grabbed my attention when I was 4. That must say a lot.
Depth: 9
There are tons of levels, each with a large amount of area to explore. Different jobs to do, different vehicles to drive, and lets not forget the build your own railway section in the tutorials.
Difficulty: 7
The difficulty in this game is like a ramp. It gets harder the higher up you get on the ramp. There are 5 (?) job bins to pick from, each with a different difficulty level.
Overall: 9
This game is astounding. So much fun to drive trains around all day long. With great graphics, great sound, and great fun, this is a must have.
