The Valley of Death

Today I will see the Valley of Death. I hope it is beautiful. I don't want to sacrifice my life and it not be for anything.
I don't want to be laying there, bleeding, and just thinking, "Did I do this for the right reasons?"
What if I decide that I was wrong, and change my mind, but it's already too late? I guess I will never find out.

Today I want to see the Valley of Death. I didn't think that it would hurt this much.
I don't want to be laying here, in so much pain, thinking, "Why did it have to be me?"
What if I have done something differently? Could I have saved everybody, without having to have had to sacrifice myself?

Today I have seen the Valley of Death. It is indeed beautiful. I don't have any regrets.
I don't want to go back to the light; I am comfortable here in the Shadows, saying, "Do you know how much I have missed you?"
What if I was still back in the light? I wonder if anybody is missing me.

Today I have walked in the Shadow in the Valley of Death. Everybody is here, and I love it.
I don't want another chance; my one was enough, with me asking "Don't let me be forgotten, ok?"
What if my friends weren't here? I guess I will never know.

For I am now in the Valley Death, and it is beautiful.
