I smoke tabacco but would never take drugs


Drugs are for mugs

I never took any kind of drugs.
I don't even smoke ciggerettes.
And I hope that I will never do neither of them.

The only "drugs" I have ever had are medications a fully licensed doctor perscribed, over the counter medications (like asprin) and caffeine (thanks Elara)

I absolutely refuse to try narcotics and hate people that do for a few simple reasons:
The airborn ones stink, I mean they really reak, sewage smells better.
The addictive ones (which is like every one) make people "need" to have them all the time.
They make people steal to satisfy their habbits as drugs are expensive and addicts end up spending all their money, so they take others money too.
I'm talking from experience, I have been mugged (for about $10-20), my house broken into (fortunately the last time I was home and got them arrested) and had over $300 stolen from me from supposed "friends" (suffice to say I severed those ties many years ago now).

Now a story. I was just out shopping. I mean like in the last little bit, like 30 mins ago.
On my way home these guys started talking to me. Small talk.
Then they proceeded to try and get me to buy drugs off them (pot, ecstasy) but I said nah, they even offered me cigarettes (lol) but I just said cleans the way.
So then they were hassling me to tell them where I lived (as if I would) and when I wouldn't they threatened to follow me, beat me up and blow up my house.
I told them to do the world a favour and kill themselves and went the long way home.

THIS IS WHY I HATE DRUGS (and the people that use them).

I smoke pot on occasion and drink too on occasion, just to unwind but other then that, I never did drugs. I really don't consider weed a drug. It doesn't have all the bad effects behind it like thee other ones do, just my opinion and maybe fact. I can talk through exp. also that people that were my friends and did them, ended up screwing me over so like DH I also have severed those ties with those people. I also like soda and caffiene so I'm guilty of that offense also. Drugs R Bag, Mmkay!!!!

I have done tons of drugs just about everything besides crack and heroin. its a good idea to stay away from them if you have a addictive personality. the only drug i do on a regular basis is weed. when you do alot of drugs and i dont mean to sound like a hippie but i think it open ups your mind. when i get really stoned there nothing better then watching the history channel or some kind of interesting subject to learn about.

Considering that you compare pot to alchohol or tobacco, it really isn't that bad plus if we would legalize it, the government could tax it and get a tidy sum from it.

i smoked weed for the first time last saturday got high off of a hit and it was preety cool but im prolly not gonna touch it again for a longggggggggg while so yeh...

I drink caffeine in coffee form, and I regularly do chocolate. Yes, I consider both of those drugs because they affect your mood and behavioral pattern.

Recently I listened to this pro-marijuana hippie on the radio about how it's medicinal and it makes for great sex, etc. etc., but when teh host asked him if it had negative effects similar to alcohol he totally dodged the question. Plus if it makes sex that great I figure it's a bad idea to support it because AIDS and overpopulation are going to go through the roof. Anyone who says Mary Jane has no negative effects and then admits you shouldn't drive while doing it is full of crap. Maybe it's not as bad as cigarettes or alcohol, but that doesn't make it good. That's like saying Hitler wasn't as bad as Stalin. I may be exaggerating the seriousness of the situation, but I don't want people to use marijuana for sex and then see the abortion rate go up.

Marijuana does have bad health effects, while not very many compared to Cocaine or Heroin, it does. So does Tabacco and the abuse (a little bit is harmless) of alcohol.

I will say I did alot of experimenting back in the day and did just about everything minus heroin and crack...thinking back nothing really worth it. I drank ALOT all through college but don't at all any more. Only one I can't kick is cigerettes. Trying again after my CCNA exams.

I've taken many Medical drugs but I have never and will never do drugs. I have drank a little bit in the past but nothing major and I don't plan to.

How you made the connection between marijuana and an increasing abortion rate astonishes even me. However driving while high is probably not the best idea. I drive while im stoned every once and a while and i could see the danger in it. But they're are tons of dangerous things on the road sleepy, angry, or just plain bad drivers. Plus I've seen the medical benefits of marijuana. My friends aunt has breast cancer and was undergoing cheemotherapy. She couldnt ever eat so she just looked like she was dying. Then her son and her husband convinced her to get a medical marijuana license next thing you know, we're going to hometown buffet. I know probably for about every 10 people that get a license probably around only 2 actually need it. But that shows you that people want this. So just tax the crap out of it and make some money for your state.

tonetone714 : Heh, Marijuana is only beneficial if you are in serious need for it. I know it's not HORRIBLE for you, but it does take its toll on your health in a few areas.

OK here is how i feel about it. I have tried alcohol but that's it. My Father is a big time drug dealer, he left me and my mom's life because of drugs, he has assaulted people for drug money, stole money from his dead brother, stole from his mom, and done lots of other things i am sure. I hate him for all he has done and i wont let myself repeat it.

I don't take drugs. I have had beer and rum, but those were only a couple times, and I don't plan on having them in my life unless I barely have any at all and than wait a while before I have some more.
